Well, dear readers, I have breaking news for you. Yes, you heard it here, dear readers, I have breaking news for you and here it is – but first let us tune the grand up, dance your shoes off, strike the band up, it’s today and last night we got to 100% of our goal. It was an amazing turn of events and I danced a jig when it happened and immediately got heartburn. I had someone e-mail me asking if I’d lower the price slightly on two pricey items, which I was more than happy to do and said someone grabbed them and that put us within sixty-five dollars of our goal and someone came in and did that and then we, in fact, went over by thirty bucks. But we must not rest on our laurels nor are hardys because now the stretch goal to cover our fees happens and that’s very important. So, there’ll be new perky perks over the next six days as we bring this puppy home. I’m hoping against hope that we can cover all the Indiegogo fees and then go to infinity and beyond so that we can do lots of fun CD releases and shows. So, let’s keep at it, and if you haven’t checked the perks, do so, as I’m putting up a few things that got snapped up yesterday. You people are AMAZING and to get there in three weeks is fantastic. So, now here’s to covering fees and going as fer as we can go. Here, as always, is the handy-dandy linkilicious link.
I think I tried watching a movie last night but fell asleep and woke up an hour into it. I can’t even remember what it was called. I did sort of watch a documentary called The Girl in the Picture – it was good. Mostly, last night was a whole lotta cheerleading by the likes of me.
Yesterday was a grand and glorious day. I got eight hours of sporadically sporadic sleep, got up, answered e-mails, saw that we’d had some good action taking us to 93%, did some cheerleading, and then went out and got Taco Bell for food. I came right home and ate it all up and it was a very good batch. Then I spent the rest of the day cheerleading and finishing up episode two, which I did. It took me a really long time to figure out how to motivate the physical comedy in one sequence, but I think it came out really well. At some point, I ordered in some fresh peanut butter chocolate chip cookies that were very good. I had three of them. The rest you know. After I post these here notes, I have to over to CVS and get some Pepcid, which I ran out of the night before.
Today, I’ll be up when I’m up, I’ll cheerlead, I’ll futz and finesse episode two and then move on to episode three. I’m having fun writing these, I must say, and I think they’ll be a lot of fun to shoot, and perhaps some of you dear readers can be in them, as there are a couple of episodes with crowd scenes. Wouldn’t that be fun? Then I’ll shave and shower, mosey on over to the mail place to see if anything’s arrived, and then mosey on over to have a very nice dinner with Laura Wolfe and company. Looking forward to a nice meal in a nice jernt. Then I’ll come home, cheerlead, and then watch, listen, and relax.
Tomorrow is more of the same, although I won’t be cheerleading as much this weekend. Then on Monday, it’s the Indiegogo campaign cheerleading and bringing this puppy home.
Well, dear readers, I must take the day, I must do the things I do, I must, for example, be up when I’m up, cheerlead, futz and finesse, write, shave and shower, see what’s at the mail place, have a nice meal, cheerlead, and then watch, listen, and relax. Today’s topic of discussion: Who are your all-time favorite comedy teams? Let’s have loads of lovely postings, shall we, whilst I hit the road to dreamland, so happy that we got to 100% and that we now can start to cover the fees and go to infinity and beyond.
