Good morning!

Sad to say, the crisp, cool mornings of the past week are gone now for the moment. It was fairly cool this morning, but it wasn't anything like the feeling of fall that I've had since the past weekend. Very disappointing.

Yes, he will -- that's the reason he went all the way to Brooklyn to get them -- Brooklyn tap shows have extra good karma!

The Brain Tap is gonna rock!

Actually, DR Elmore, my THREEPENNY O)PERA came yesterday, too (also MARTHA GRAHAM ON FILM). The mailman dropped the package off on my side porch instead of in the mailbox on the front porch, and I never had occasion to look there until I went out to get the newspaper in my driveway this morning.

Wouldn't have mattered as I had EAT MY DUST to watch last night. I may get to it early this evening. I have NEVER seen this version (and the French version filmed simultaneously with the German version is also included). I'm very eager to see it. Glancing at the chapter stops, it's obvious many songs have been dropped.

By the way, I would like to see the updated list of all the HHWers that will be in tonight's opening Brain audience ... Curious, like a cat, and want to know who's gonna be there tonight cheering on Boo-Key and the rest of the Brainiacs...

Tonight is the two hour season finale of BURN NOTICE. It starts at 9, so those of you who watch this marvelous caper series be wary of the earlier hour start time.

I am on the internet earlier this morning than usual because I'm having an early lunch out to accommodate a package which will be arriving this afternoon. More about that later.

DR Miss Karen, of the 6 Brain performances, the only one that didn't conflict with something else on my calendar was the closing night performance.  So that's when I'll be there.  :(

DR InnoCent sounds a good name for a rapper living in the 'burbs of New York ... Got your bling on DR InnoCent? Got any gold, sparkly pumps?

Well, her PM this morning was quite vague about her travel plans, I must say!

Nope, the broom comes out of storage today.

Man, I wish the broom wasn't broken, because I would whisk out there to be in the opening night audience...

Oh, I am SO hip!

I do have gold, sparkly pumps.

But I'm trying to decide if they'll go with my puce toga.  I'm thinking the closing night of The Brain merits something special.

I only remember the Moritat, Pirate Jenny, and the Barbara-Song, and even that could be wrong.  My memory is that a band arrangement of the Ballad of The Easy Life is heard during the hotel scene.

Thursday morning greetings.  I'll be E & T most of the day and into the evening, because we have another work day at Harriet's apartment and my book group meets tonight.  We're discussing Debra Moggach's Tulip Fever and I really, really, really need to be with my girlfriends.

Yesterday actually went quite smoothly.  Richard and I developed a strategy and then just started working the plan.  Rob met us there late in the afternoon and we loaded both cars with stuff for his new apartment and drove to Cincinnati.  Richard and I came home tired, but satisfied with our day's work, at about 9pm.

I must head down now to get cleaned up for my early lunch with best friend John. Before lunch we must do some moving of equipment to make way for what's arriving this afternoon.
