I must say, I do have a craving for donuts right now.  I ate some cucumber sushi so I haven't eaten very many calories, and I suppose I could have a couple of donuts and call it a day.  It hates when I call it a day, but I get a perverse kick out of it.  Besides, why should I call it a cucumber or a week or a firefly?

We got the last of the computer weirdnesses fixed - all my archived sent/received AOL mail is now where it should be.  Hoo and ray.  Hopefully, everything will work smoothly from now on, and Vinnie is coming over and we're going to upgrade my backup program so that the backup drive will be bootable.  Then, instead of taking five hours to reinstall, it will take a half-hour.  That's what I'M talkin' about.

Off to my bookmobile gig.

Back from helping my mom with stuff and stopping at the grocery store.

Despite sleeping in until the un-goshly hour of 9:30 am I am ready for a nap.

I want to watch a movie but I know if I do I will end up falling asleep!

Well... Like most of my weekends.

Vinnie came over and we upgraded to the pro version of the backup program, and now I'm bootable.  I love that.  He also did a repair permissions on the computer - Mr. Computer Man should have known to do that - now everything runs much faster.  He also got Final Draft back up and working, so that's cooliscious.

A weekend without a Bollywood movie is like....

They, for Narnia, the movie, supposedly auditioned 2000 kids! Not 1999 or 2003, mind you! No!

Does it mean that they could have done a better job because only one (the younger girl) showed real talent to me! The other ones are so wooden and bland that i think they should have auditioned 2000 more! Ah!

They must think we're so stupid that we all fall for NUMBERS!

In the past, I used to read all those figures about Disney animated features; 5000 pencils, 15 0000 cels, 20 500 hours, 350 artists!....

I can't get rid of AOL until I figure out how to import my address books into gmail.  If anyone has any ideas, GREAT!

Hello, all!  And welcome, DR Adrianna Patti.  

My youngest brother deserves a big gold star on his forehead.  This morning, while sitting at my dad's bedside, he started rambling about food, and asked my dad what he'd would love to eat.  Turns out, my dad felt some fresh fish baked with a bit of butter would please him to a T.  So, tomorrow, my brother's bringing him from home some baked fish.  I would never have thought of using such psychology to get him to eat something, but today we managed to get at least a sampling of all three meals today.  After my brother and I got back from lunch, he disappeared for a smoke and returned to the hospital room with an ice cream bar.  My dad ate the whole thing!  This is a very good sign, I believe.

So, around 6:00, one of my dad's coofee buddies arrived to visit, and I got to leave.  I've got my BABES edits to work on tonight, and my Shakespeare book to read.

If I could live anywhere but New York, it would be London.
