I have to go to the Virgin site and activate this phone.  You know, I know it sounds silly but I feel bad about giving up my old phone.  It's served me well.

I only got the new one because the old one is so small and my eyesight isn't the best in world.  I thought one with bigger numbers and a bigger display would be better for me.

I want to turn the old phone in to someplace that gives them to abused women so they have a way to call for help.  It's a good phone, nothing is wrong with it.

DR Danise, I'm happy to hear your health is clearing up!  I've spent the morning doing laundry, vaccuming, and scrubbing.  Now, I'm off to Toyland!

Wonder how many times DR Jose will have to play "I Just Can't Wait to Be King" today?

Well... Since we only had 14(?!?!?!?!?) boys show up this morning to audition for Young Simba...

5 times in the teaching portion
14 times as each young boy sang it by themselves
2 more times all together

And that makes 21 times that I had to play "I Just Can't Wait To Be King" - and it was just the short 16-bar cut too!

*And, technically, I'm still on the clock for two more hours! ;)

We are going to the craft fair at the mall today then down to Tubac and some restaurant that has a giant chicken outside or something like that.  I have taken many photos and will post some when I get back to high speed internet. Maybe while waiting in DIA tomorrow. The high-speed is free at the airport

You'll see wonderful clouds scudding by- always -----and see the land where "Oklahoma!" was filmed!   Enjoy.  The clouds alone and the the green fiels are worth it.

Jrand and I share a favourite Dietrich, DESIRE, brilliant funny film, and Coop's just as great.

My other fav is THE SCARLET EMPRESS.  Mr. Von Sternberg at the helm and it is one of the most surreally wonderful films ever made.

I also love DESTRY RIDES AGAIN & WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION (Wanna kiss me, Ducky?)

I have no favorite Marlene Dietrich movies.

Could that possibly be because you've never seen a Marlene Dietrich movie?

I've not seen "Desire", but I'll "third" the other titles.  Add to that "No Highway in the Sky" with Jimmy Stewart and Glynis Johns.  This was Marlene in post-war full-glam mode, basically playing herself.

OK, I'm dressed for bookselling in my "So Many Books, So Little Time" sweatshirt and khakis.  Time for a little lunch (leftover Shaddock's pizza, DR Elmore!) before Richard and I go out to the mall.  Our shift is 3-6pm, so...bye for now!

Well, I normally wouldn't be counting, but since the turnout was so small this morning, it was quite easy to keep track of things since the process is pretty streamlined.  If the turnout had been bigger, we would have not let each boy sing the song by themselves - we would have broken each verse up.

OK, I'm going to get some sleep for a bit. Thanks to all the vibes for Greg! The stone still has to make its exit, so we are going to try a "home remedy" he read about on the world-wide interweb.

Oh, come on Amy, you didn't fall for that old line?

I also love DESTRY RIDES AGAIN

No matter how many times I see this title, I always want to think it's a typo of DESTINY RIDES AGAIN.

GET WELL vibes to Danise!

What a great weekend at HHW!  Both Brett and Danise returning to the fold.  You have both been missed.
I am relieved that Amy and Greg survived the tornado.

In other news it looks like I will be a Great, Great Aunt again!

Baby Jonathan will be born, Thursday, April 17. Missy  is scheduled for c-section at 7:30am.  Hailey is my other Great, Great Niece.

This is my Niece, Maries, daughter, Missy who is having the baby, not Debi.

What a coinkydink!  My niece Hilary's birthday is April 17! :)
