...Carol Channing is already announcing plans for the 100th Anniversary Edition tour of HELLO, DOLLY!

Have you been asked to play Horace  :)

der Brucer

Actually with Carol as Dolly, maybe you should play Barnaby.

Probably Minnie Fay.

DR Jane - to answer your question from last night Pinterest is a social media website that acts as a picture file or bulletin board for visual content.  I've found it very useful for saving knitting and papercrafting ideas.  Would you like an invitation?  Anyone else?

I don't knit.  Yet.

Well, there are other reasons to look just around (and even some almost-not-safe-for-work reasons)...such as:

;)

Thank you for the "at work" warning, George, but I am proud to say that I no longer work!

Yes, there is that...but it was a warning just in case anyone else wanted to look around....just in case.

Are any of you reader-persons familiar with this:

Labyrinth by Kate Mosse

Even though Dover, our state capital and home of the University of Delaware has no gen eral purpose book stores, poor off-the beaten track tiny summer resort Dewey Beach has a very nice one, open even now in the off-season.

Thrifty soul that I am, whiloe standing in the store, I took advantage of my new Smart-Phone and ordered a copy from Amazxon (saving $1).

Nah - I'm lying - I bought the book and paid cash.

der Brucer

I liked it very much.  I have friend's with a labyrinth & suggested they read the book.  I don't think they did.

Just finished up the  biography of MAVERICK'S Jack Kelly...and actor I have always liked.

How was it?  Kelly is Keith's preferred Maverick.

I have now fulfilled 2/3 of my volunteer commitment to this year's book sale.  Business was steady and really spiked after school let out for the day/week.  Teachers love our book sale!  Here are a couple of our members who were on duty when I got there:

...this year's book sale...

Books are so "yesterday" (Ask Brittanica).

Soon you'll only find them in antique shops.

Retired Librarians, however, will remain eternally vibrant and forever charming.

I miss browsing good book sales.

I'm also reading THE BOOK THIEF. Quite interesting.

I'm very exciting you are reading this.  I've read it twice & it was even better the second time.

So, our first butterfly walk of the season is scheduled for tomorrow. Guess what? A severe storm bringing LOTS of rain is in the forecast.

It doesn't rain in the spring here.

I'm feeling somewhat sad that Bryan has to move to Cleveland while his wife has to stay in Chicago.

On the upside, Bryan will be doing his emergency medicine residency at Chase Western/Cleveland Clinic. :D

Hmmm, I think the better vibes for you are for rain & a postponement of your walk.

If it isn't too personal, why does Bryan's wife have to stay in Chicago?

Chase Western/Cleveland Clinic should be an incredible location for his residency.  It is just unfortunate it is in Cleveland.  Not only does Bryan prefer to be near his wife he likes cities where he can walk or take public transportation to great coffee shops, restaurants, etc.

Just finished "Murder at the HHS" - the kindle version.  Even though I own the hardcover, I guess I can't read books anymore, go figure.  I purchased "Murder at the Masquers" - the kindle version today, even though I have the hardback.  So, bk... two royalties from me.

Yes, DR Jane, most of the workers were wearing teal AAUW shirts.
