This isn't really a Ask BK Day question, but he is welcome to weigh in with his opinion.  When someone says on Facebook that they would appreciate some prayers; shouldn't they give you some idea what the problem might be?  I suppose it really is none of my business, but I have trouble praying when I don't know what I am praying about.

Richard and I are watching FROM HERE TO ETERNITY on TCM.  I don't think I've ever seen it.

Among the stacks of old Fall Preview TV Guides I just got was an unbelievable May 1969 issue with a long article about how President Nixon would go down in history as using television the best of any President.  Hmmmmm. . . .

Well, I'm off to see the Met's broadcast of Philip Glass' "Satyagraha" at the local mall cinema.  I hope I enjoy it as much as I'd enjoyed the recording 20 years ago...and that I stay awake for the whole thing. ::)

;)

Be back later!

Last night, I walked back into the lving room and there was a commercial that I figured had to be an SNL sketch, or I was drunk.  I knew it wasn't Saturday, and I hadn't had a drop; so how can I explain a commercial for a Chia Obama?

*Yesterday was a long(!) day. I woke up at 3:30am to get ready for the scheduled 4:15am pickup by the airport shuttle service. The shuttle did not arrive until 5:20am. And he had to drop off a couple at LAX first.  He did get me to LGB "on time"... With only five minutes to spare before they closed my flight off. WHEW! Thankfully, that was the only bit of travel drama I had yesterday, but, needless to say, by the time I got back to my hotel room last night around 11:00pm, all I wanted to do was crawl into bed and sleep. And that's exactly what I did.

And now... My college roommate is taking me to some of his favorite places in town. This could get very interesting. In a good way. I hope. ;)

I shall have to catch up later. I hope everyone is having a great Hump Day.

I just figure they need it but don't want to discuss it, at least not for now.  BTW I'm guessing it was medical since that person has had previous problems.
