François at first I as hurt that the chocolate page was only for Panni but guess what, I think you were right.  Since I don’t speak French I can’t be sure about what is in those-beautiful or not. :)

I have spent the day in bed.  The cold I've been working my way through decided to pull out all the stops, and I've had every part of my body protesting.  My throat has been protesting.  My ears have been protesting.  My head has been protesting.  My neck has been prostesting.  As have my chest and my back.

(I won't get into the flem I've been caughing up, because it's been very green, globulous, and gross in a muccussy way.)

So, I spent the day in bed.  Der Brucer drove up to Dover, and then over to visit with the grandlads, and is on his way home now.

The dogs have been very happy about my spending so much time in bed, because they've all been cuddling.  In shifts.  The only problem has been Fletcher, who several times has drained my water glass of water, thinking that I set it beside my bed just for him.

I've been through earthquakes
I've been through fires in the hills
But I'm here!

Which is why I prefer not to take something I might just trash, plus there is the food allergy thing. :)

LOL-The reason the mugs of water we keep on our night tables have lids.  We always thought the lids were just to keep the cats out-now I know better. ;D

Wrong Dover, Francois.  The closest thing we have to cliffs here in Delaware are the curbs along the streets.

Ooops, I did not know!

Trashing chocolate might be the only trashy thing you may do in life!

-- that's supposed to be complimentary, but i'm afraid it might not come accross as such! --

I need a chocolate! :D

Carmen does work in English, if it's Carmen Jones.  But that's a special case.

I don't think CARMEN JONES works at all.  I have seen several wonderful productions of CARMEN done in English.

Deserted us?

No! It's just Sandra who's in the desert and who's opening her front door to a Giant Hand!

Weird evening, isn't it!

K-Tel... What is she? ... in French!

Hi, all...

Sorry I've been errant and truant. Things have been insanely busy lately between work and a recent whirlwind tour of Kentuckiana and having a tooth ripped out of my head on Weds. (don't ask). Suffice it to say that I haven't had much free time lately. I think about you guys a lot, though, if that's any consolation. :-)

DR Laura asked me to post a couple of pictures that I've taken over the last few weeks. This one was taken from the Empire State Building a couple of weeks ago while the object of my affections was here. L'objet d'amour is back in Chicago, and my affections aren't as out of control as they once were, but we had a lot of fun this particular evening, so this picture serves as a fun memory. Hopefully we will have more such fond memories in the future.
