I was trying to decide whether to eat around here or just go to Glendale and eat there, and then hang out at Bookfellows until show time.

I just don't know the restaurants around there all that well - and I don't fancy Don Cuco's so I'd be taking a chance.  On the other hand, I could get a good parking space.

I had about six minutes left in the afternoon and started AS THE WORLD TURNS thinking I'd just skim through it to the previews, but there were the boys, so I had to stop it and will pick it up when I go back down later.

It gets more and more idiotic; the incestuous twins were so demented before their crime spree that "the boys" must be complete retards, and where the hell are all their other friends? Like the "huge" crowd that came to the Big Gay Rally? To what common low level of audience IQ do these writers aim? Or stoop?

I think the plots for the boys stopped making sense the last time Col. Mayer was on, and their plots have never really recovered.

I read that THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS is adding a gay male character to its show soon. I may switch to it once he's in place.

It seems like it would be a pretty boring story line with only one gay character on the show.  Unless he is going to start seducing the "straight" characters.

We found the missing revolver today, so that's something we don't have to worry about any longer.

The movers had labeled the box wrong.

Good Evening!

Well, the sun was out.  Then it clouded up.  Then it rained.  Then it lightning'd and thundered. Then it stopped. The the clouds parted. And now...

Well, now, I'm watching a most beautiful sunset through the living room window while listening to some amazing pianists - amazingly young (12-17 years old) and just plain amazing! - on From The Top.

And speaking of good health and vibes, I received this bit of wonderful news from my roommate, Jim:

"The doctors did a neuro exam and met with Danielle today and said she
will make a full recovery in three months!  They said they can't
believe how much she is progressing and we have nothing to worry
about!... they were originally saying up to two years for recovery and
hadn't said it would be a full recovery until today.  We are all so
proud of Danielle for fighting so hard and are very thankful for all
the well wishes, support, and positive energy you all have given us.

AOL Headlines had a story about An Amazing Sighting in OhioThe first time in 100 years.  I was betting on a virgin, but it turned out to be a mountain bluebird.

I don't think so.  His options were explained to me by my mother who tends to get things confused. So, I can't say with certainty what will happen`

I did end up heading out the Tanger Outlet Mall earlier.  It was a total Meh excursion.  I knew I was in "trouble" when I looked at the store directory and didn't see a New Balance store listed.  And then I really I knew I was in for a truly underwhelming experience when I peeked into their Food Court, and saw that there were only three options: a Chinese place, Sbarro and Subway.

I did check out a few stores, but I just wasn't in a shopping mode.  When I stopped into the Banana Republic Factory Store, I ran into one of the members of the cast of The Producers. -He works there as a sales associate.  Well... Even with him offering to extend his discount to me, I still didn't find anything I wanted to buy.  And so I left the outlet mall.

-And that's when the skies darkened and the rain started pouring down.

A coincidence?

I just bought myself a new video camcorder and I was looking at it and reading the instructions this weekend.  I bought my first video cam fifteen years ago and the thing was about the same size as the old TV station cameras (and probably just as heavy).  I remember on my first vacation to Mexico that I almost passed out from heat exhaustion from carrying the damn thing around with me.

My new one fits in the palm of my hand.  How amazing is that?  And this one allows me to download the videos directly to my computer.
