Happy day! Freddy the wandering cat returned to his home at 12:25 am...or at least that is when I woke up to him meowing outside!

He had no explanation for his disappearance and headed straight for his food bowl.

He seemed not at all pleased to see Hildy...but I am sure she had nothing to do with it...I think  ::)

So thank you all for the vibes! They really are quite effective!!!

Ah, sir, happy news, indeed!

"Barkleys of Broadway" was MGM....costumes were by Irene and Valles.

You beat me to the correction! Irene was definitely MGM at that point in her career. She was the sister of art director deluxe Cedric Gibbons.

Poor Keith.

We needed a new stereo system so he decides the thing to get is a CD jukebox (Craig is very excited and has already made his claim to be next in line for it ;D).  It should have arrived a couple a weeks ago since it was just a short distance away in California.  After multiple calls Keith found it was shipped to Florida instead of to us.  Today it finally it arrived.

Keith told them to transfer it to a smaller truck and not to bring it in the large moving van.  Did they listen-NO!  Now we have a large moving truck stuck in our driveway.  It is pouring out there, Keith is sick and a snowstorm is expected tonight.

Well, I watched the alternate ending to VERONICA MARS. Just a word to those who bother to watch. The clip is about 9 1/2 minutes long, but only the last two minutes contain the alternate ending.

spoiler - - - -

I LOATHED, despised, and abhored the alternate ending: sensationalistic, melodramatic, absurd, and contrived in the absolute worst sense of the word. The aired ending was much more subtle and open to several interpretations.

Glad to see Tomovoz is talking to us again!

Had he ever stopped??

Favourite romantic score -- of the ones I know, bien sûr! --

Well, the bedroom areas need cleaning, so I guess I'd better hurry downstairs and get to it.

Jennifer, it’s nice your doctor is keeping tabs on you.  When you are done taking the antibiotic, or near the end of them, I highly suggest taking acidophilus to prevent a yeast infection.

TMI!!  TMI!! :-X

Hi, Ronnie!

Things are pretty quiet on the Parigi front!

Actually, where are those hooligans now that it's freezing cold on the streets???
We could use a few burning cars!!

Note: NO cedilla for ICI, 'cause C before I in French sounds like an S!
Before A, U, and O, C sounds like a K, hence the cedilla to make it sound like an S! Simple, hey???? :o

Deb and Jane, glad you enjoyed Anthony's video. By sound I meant dialogue. You can hear the sound of footsteps in the hall and I think there is an "oof" kind of thing when Anthony bumps into the other man, otherwise the script was minimal.

I think Anthony would like to still be doing the British Music Hall show. It's nice to know that Vixter enjoys theatre. I'll tell Anthony.

We had a wonderful (and quiet) Thanksgiving by the way. It was the four of us, Anthony, his parents and me. We had ham this year instead of turkey and when we came back to the city we got to bring some leftover with us. We had ham and eggs for dinner last night. Very good!

We saw Harry Potter for a bargin matinee price of $6.50. We also watched Billy Elliot, Isn't She Great and Scrooge.

Do you stop taking them if it isn't strep?

No, I think I would stop taking them if it was strep.  She gave me the antibiotics because she was 90% sure it wasn't strep. I assume there is different medication if it is strep.

OMG!  "Is it because I'm a lesbian?" was just a question on Millionaire, and the idiot contestant, who is obviously neither a Hainsie nor a Kimlet, guessed that it came from The West Wing.   ;D

Not everyone can be a "Law & Order" fan, I guess.

And even more scarce are Hainsies and Kimlets...we rare, rare few....
