Started "The Chocolate Box" on the POIROT set, but only got about ten minutes into it. I will finish it tonight before watching ANDY BARKER, P.I. I may leave SUPERNATURAL for tomorrow.

So much for the traditional marriage of one man and one woman!  Three living together!  It's the end of civilization!

My mail came and I was disappointed that CASINO ROYALE on Blu-ray wasn't among the mail. Hours later, I'm on the telephone when a knock came at the door. By the time, I get to the door, there's no one there, but two nice packages on the stoop from Amazon and Deep Discount, the Amazon package containing CASINO ROYALE.

This will get watched this evening. The Blu-ray transfer has gotten such raves that I'm very eager to see the way it looks on my equipment.

Good Morning, DR MusicGuy!

So... You did not answer my query from last night...

Where are we staying when during your visit to New York City?

;)

Oh, God, another desperate bid to get to Paris!

This from a guy who thinks wearing a costume on Halloween is silly.

Actually, DR SWW, if you are as zany with your customers at work as you are with us on the board, I would imagine you send quite a good number of folks out of the store with a smile on their faces.   :)

Well, I do have a wooden ruler for your use... You know, the kind with the little metal edge...

Mea culpa, mea culpa....

Tramp! Tramp! Tramp! The boys are marching . . .

I'd ask if you had no shame, but I already know the answer!

And there are all types of families...

There's the Dreamgirls type of family (as is in "We are a family...")...

And then there's the Sister Sledge type of family (as in "We Are Family!).

And then there's Tobacco Road and you!

Even though I'm Irish (with English thrown in as well) I have no memories of Saint Patrick's Day.

I've never played baseball and I have no interest in watching it.

And DR Ben and I are unanimous in that.

I cannot think of any particularly special St. Patrick Days, but I do always try to wear some green....wouldn't want to get pinched!

Wouldn't that fulfill all your Irish cop fantasies?

Of course, touring in CAMELOT could be considered a harsher punishment than prison.

Hey! One of my dearest friends is playing King Pellinore in that tour!

The Channel 21 Begathon is on, and they're punishing me with Lawrence Welk!  Why is 6  PM such a pathetic viewing time of Saturdays?

My life-long best friend just moved to Dallas a couple of months ago.  Will S & V be shown in the Atlanta area any time soon?  I would love to get him to come see the film.

We're having a hard time finding a place to screen here because there are no theatres that project video, unless they hire a projector for a film festival. We're trying to work something out, though, so I'll keep you posted. I'd like to meet your friend anyway, and he probably has to drive through Marietta frequently...

DR edisaurus - So, after reading your posts, I'm guessing Saturday afternoon is your only free time slot to catch another show?

That's right. We're certainly grabbing for the gusto!

I've been watching a strange motion picture on DVD entitled A Dandy In Aspic, a film I've always wanted to see - its director, Anthony Mann, died during filming, and star Laurence Harvey finished it.

DR SWW, I am trying to declutter and I have some episodes of Good Eats that Alton gave me before I started working on the show, since I had never seen it. (Much to his dismay...) I think I also have copies of some of their old scripts.

The 6 episodes are on VHS. I don't know what season they're from or if they've been released but if not I'd be happy to pass them on to you if you'd like them. They are:

Flap Jack, Do It Again
Head Games
Mission Poachable
Behind the Bird
American Pickle
The Case of Butter

(Seeing these titles, I realize that HHW should be giving him titles!)

PM me your address if you'd like them, otherwise I will be tossing them...

François, in case you log in later, I'm on Showtime this week with a review of Mary Poppins. It seems to be rather early, about 20 to 25 minutes into the show. By the time you get to it the show should be on Listen Again. You know the drill so enjoy My Gallic Friend.

All six of these episodes are on DVD.  But maybe Jose would like them!  (He's also a fan of the show.)

Scripts, on the other hand, are always fun to read and study!  I'd enjoy them a great deal if you've got them.

Not neccesarily.  Some actors are quite adept at using makeup to age themselves.

Not that you'll ever need that skill, I am sure!   ::)
