Just finished (a little while ago) a lovely going-through-music session with Shauna Hicks and Georga Osborne, both of whom send a very hearty hello to BK.

Well, my bed clothes are beginning to smell like dog, so I guess it is time to start some laundry.

Or, you could simply bathe.

My DEXTER recording was heavily pixillated, so I deleted it. It's on again tonight, so I'm re-recording it and will watch it later tonight.

Charlotte and I loved WERE THE WORLD MINE. It suffers a bit from its small budget, but it's truly magical, very funny and endearing. Excellent cast, as well, and the music is quite delightful. Robin Williams' daughter Zelda, whom Charlottw knew from her Shakespeare study in England a few years ago, is quite wonderful.

Instead, I watched three more episodes of OUR GANG. All brought back wonderful memories. Jackie Cooper was certainly wonderful.

And I spent the rest of the afternoon dubbing KID GALAHAD from my DVR to a DVD-R. The DVD of this movie is only available in the Warners Gangster 4 box which I didn't want. So, this version will do me nicely.

I thought that KID GALAHAD was the one movie in that set that was available as an individual title.

I got the set, mainly for GALAHAD and LARCENY, INC., which I think it hilarious.

I watched the DVD of 24: REDEMPTION last night.

Enjoyed it.

Makes me want to see Season 7...when it's released onto DVD.

I went to Home Depot as soon as I got home and bought my table saw.  I guess I'm really going to do this work myself.

Tomorrow I must go to the office.  I stopped in there today and there were many many messages since the office has been closed for a few days.   I've got a busy week ahead, so I'm hoping to get back in the swing tomorrow

Evening all.

I didn't do very much today.  Well, to be honest, nothing at all.

I did go to the dog pound to look at some dogs.  I found one that really liked.  A male hound mix that seemed very sweet.  He's brown and white and while I would never choose a dog based on eye color, he even has one full blue eye and the other has a touch of blue in it.

One of the things I do is ask a dog to sit, just to see it they have any kind of training at all.  This one not only sat but also shook hands/paw when I asked him to.  He had gone potty but I noticed it was by the door so I'm thinking he wanted to go out.

I'm honestly thinking about going back and getting him.  The fee is only $75.00 and that includes the surgery to sterilize him or her, the micro chip and the rabies shot.

I saw 3 other dogs that interested me.  A bull terrier (looked like a pure breed) and a lab mix that looked so much like Sheena that it could be her twin.

I would have taken the 3rd dog in a heartbeat but as it was a toy fox terrier, I didn't think it would be fair to him or to Sheena.  He wouldn't be big enough to really play with her without my being afraid he would get hurt.  He looked just like Sunday (the first dog I had when I was growing up).  Sunday lived until I was in High School and this one was only about a year old.

Sadly, there was one dog there that was giving birth.  Everyone was clustered around that cage to see the puppies being born.  It broke my heart because I wonder what kind of chance they have.  How long will the pound allow them live before they are put down?  Mom, too.

DR Jose, I figured out how to get the sound driver to work!  I knew I had it when I shut the MS Window down and heard the closing music.  Yay!!! :)

Oh and I do have a request.

If anyone knows where I can get a copy of the CD  soundtrack to "Ladyhawke" , please let me know.  I looked on the usual places, Half.com, eBay and Amazon but they want way to much money for it.

If you happen to come across a reasonable priced copy, please buy it and let me know how much I owe you for it.  I will gladly pay the cost and the shipping.  I only want the CD, not the album (I have that).

Many thanks!

Gee, Vixmom, headgear doesn't sound like much fun but I guess you could be setting a new fashion trend.  :)

When I had that CT scan a few months back, being that tube without moving my head was hard enough but I wasn't strapped in.

Just take deep breaths, close your eyes and think about all the vibes that flowing around you.

DR Danise, sounds like you may have found a dog you really like.  He would be very lucky to get to live with you.

I'm just not sure about Sheena, Queen of the House.

Sometimes I look at her and I think she really needs company when I'm work and then I think that maybe she is better off being only dog.

DR Kerry, do you like to cook?  Every year when turkeys are on sale, I buy one and ask the butcher to cut it in half lengthwise. Then I roast  half of it with stuffing underneath it and have fresh Turkey and great left overs when I'm in the mood for comfort food.
