Back from Toyland and happy to be home. Except for Nos 5, 7, 8, 8a, and 8b, all of which are with the music prep supervisor, all of Act one is completely proofed and ready for perusal. I've got some notes to update and then I'm back to Mr Loesser's score.

I'm debating about doing laundry this afternoon or tomorrow morning. Tomorrow, I believe

I am so glad to hear that you have been much in demand lately!

OK... I keep thinking that it's Wednesday already.  Then realize/remember that it's Tuesday.  Then I think it's Wednesday again.  Then Tuesday.  And so on and so on.

I guess that means that I should get out of the house today.

TOD:

I think that the best french fries I've ever had were those served by McDonald's before that franchise bowed to pressure to change the oil it used.  Sigh.

The best fried onion rings I've ever had are my mom's.   Ooooooooooooohhhhh-h-h-h-h-h!

Beyond laudry and a trip to the pharmacy for more meds, it's a day with Frank Loesser.

Won't get to get any writing done pre lunch meeting, but after Lauren I shall write like the wind.  Fortunately, I thought of the next chapter whilst running, and I know how the current chapter ends - I should finish that today, and get three or four pages into the new one.

I don't what the news about Yahoo is, either...but it's been very entertaining reading about Ann Coulter's appearance on The View:)

The Flute Lick - that's the title of my next novel.
Will it be about a herd of reed players gathering in a field where a kindly farmer has planted some flutes for them to get some much needed nutrition?

I saw part of it - I was dozing in front of the TV and all the shouting woke me up - it just amazes me that she can make a such a good  living from being a hatemongerer

Hmm... Why - well, I think I know why, but still - does CNBC.com have a listing of the Best Selling Adult DVDs?  Hmmm...

I shall refrain from posting the link here.  ;)

My good deed yesterday was taking all of the copies of Coulter's new book and hiding them behind other titles in our book section.

My first thought is that some enterprising young reporter found a way to watch porn on company time and not get smacked on the wrists.  "Hey, I'll tell them it's research for a story.  Yeah, that's the ticket!"

Are any of the titles part of Elmore's library?

There's a difference between conservative and whackjob.  Problem is, the whackjobs don't know that there's a difference.

I'm sure it must be on youtube, right???!

I saw it. It was definitely interesting.

She was very condescending to Barbara Walters.  I'm glad the other women said something.

I do get why she (ann) wanted to respond. But she just had such a snarky attitude.
