MUSCLE BEACH PARTY has some fun numbers, DR MBARNUM...and some well...some muscles as well.

Mail today brought me two WALT DISNEY TREASURES (Your Host and Hardy Boys)...

Also bought THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA and TALLADEGA NIGHTS for a total of $21 at Blockbuster.

Oh i loved this episode too. It was so different and so completely moving.  Although i did not really get why he was able to choose to go into the light and not be reborn.  IF he had gone into the light previously (didn't he say that or was it simply that he saw it but did not go into) then why would him going this time mean he would not be reborn.

I wonder if they will have melinda get pregnant in the near future. I thought it was a very interesting way to have her agree she was ready.

Maybe they will have Melinda get pregnant...I think I'd read that Jennifer Love Hewitt is pregnant in real life.  Has anyone else heard this??

Unless the Professor is with us.  In which case he can build a stationary bicycle generator out of bamboo and coconuts.
I still say you're a dead-ringer (although doppelganger is more fun to use) for Charlie Brown.  It's uncanny...wow...You could probaly get a job at one of those casinos that has those celebrity impersonator shows.  Do you sound like him, too?  Just a thought.... ;)(I put that there for Charles..hey, another thought, let's drive Charles mad by sending smiley icons to his message box -- a whole message box full of smilies...... :D :D :D :D that means ha-ha-ha-ha if I'm being too subtle)

.. and that ha-ha-ha-ha is supposed to sound like an evil villain laugh, you know, like in a melodrama when we tie Charles to the track and little smiley icons...oh well, you get the picture....I'll stop it and leave poor Charles alone... for now...

I have not heard anything about her being pregnant.  Plus she was on the Golden Globes last night presenting and did not look pregnant.

Yes, there are certain times when you can lose on the flat rate box, so it's best to know where it's going and how much it will cost via standard priority shipping.  I've never lost yet, though.

There are three pieces of classical music that really choke me up:

Rachmanioff's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini
Beethoven's Ninth Symphony
And the Franck

I, too, love Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini. I'll check into  the Franck. thx.

I'm thinking, do I have a score for the Franck?  If I do, I'll have a look/listen and comment on what he's done.

DR Jeanne, if you know any recording of ON YOUR TOES, the number "Bach Beethoven and Brahms (The Three Bs)" begins with a mangled quote from the Franck Symphony.

Oh, really? I must look into this Franck Symphony. Thx!

Is that woman hostile or what?  I love the show, although I think PROJECT RUNWAY is more fun.

What a bummer, we don't get BRAVO on our cable.

Did anyone who watched the Golden Globes notice that Brad Pitt looks "different" in some way?  Has his face filled out a tad?  Are his eyes somehow more puffy?  Or squintier?

I think he's looking more and more like a young Robert Redford

Nothing provocative or titillative (another fun word -- posting on BK's site makes me bring out the dictionary), rather boring actually -- hospital whites (costumes that must be cleaned and packed away after a run of "Whose Life Is It Anyway?" at the local civic theatre).

I've gotten to the point where I'd rather watch dust motes float by from the glow of my fireplace than to watch a show that disappointed me the first time I saw it.

Of course, I watched more of "Joey" than I should have...

But, perhaps I'm too critical.

I look on it simply as a matter of to each his own.

Actually, I think that pretty much anyone can get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  According to the official Hollywood Chamber of Commerce website[/url], the criteria for Star on the Walk of Fame includes:

1. Professional achievement
2. Longevity of five years in the field of entertainment
3. Contributions to the community
The recipient must agree to attend the dedication ceremony.
In case of a fan nomination, a letter of agreement must be sent by celebrity management.

And the sponsorship fee is only $15,000.

The Walk of Fame recipients for the year 2007 are:

MOTION PICTURES
Michael Caine, Matt Damon, Lauren Shuler Donner, Jamie Foxx, John Goodman, Michelle Pfeiffer and director Robert Altman.

TELEVISION
Erik Estrada, Kiefer Sutherland, Jerry Stiller, Barbara Walters and producer Dick Wolf.

RECORDING
Mariah Carey, Sean “Diddy” Combs, The Doors, Crystal Gayle, Tim McGraw, Leann Rimes and Shania Twain.

LIVE THEATRE/LIVE PERFORMANCE
Sir Tim Rice and Lily Tomlin.

RADIO
Rodney Bingenheimer and Stu Nahan.

I got a surprise when I settled in to watch last night's CBS comedies. First, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was a rerun from earlier this season. At first I thought I'd watch it, but then I heard the mailman drop some boxes on the front porch, so I figured some new Blu-ray discs had arrived, and I was correct. So, in order to squeeze in a movie this afternoon, I only watched shows I hadn't seen already.

CBS did present a new episode of THE CLASS, and it was one of the funniest of the season. Several classmates are starting to hang out more as friends now, so there aren't so many plots going on at once.

Actually, however, I think CBS is more or less burning off the episodes of THE CLASS it has, and I don't see it returning next season. In a few weeks, RULES OF ENGAGEMENT will begin in the 9:30 slot, and CBS is moving OLD CHRISTINE to the 8:30 slot while the new comedy tries out behind TWO AND A HALF MEN. If it does any kind of ratings at all, I suspect CBS will leave OLD CHRISTINE at 8:30.

OLD CHRISTINE did have its funniest episode of the season, but there were some good laughs as Christine tried to party with her brother and was totally out of place.

Thanks for the "Walk of Fame" information George.  anyone can buy "fame" it seems! Sort of lessens the tribute to real "stars".
