And now, I'm headed down to read some more in KATE (I'm up to the period between LONG DAY'S JOURNEY and GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DINNER).

My vote is for pictures in the book with liner notes.

BUT...a link to the lyrics at this here or the Kritzerland site could be printed in the book for those who buy the CD...and if anyone wants the lyrics...ta and da.

The sun is gamely trying to make a dent in the cloud layer here.

It's pretty much a lame game attempt.

DR TPunk....when were you here in California?

When did you return?

If you were here last Wednesday, were there ultra-strong winds knocking things around at your mother's house?

Did Rodzinski also go to California?

I started watching Ugly Betty online last night. It's quite good for today's TV shows.  I don't watch TV much & can never keep track of when anything's on, or what channel. So as they have the whole season up thus far, this could work out for me.

Back from a mini break and battling the stomach virus. I had it first and then the rest of my visiting family members got it. I went back to work, but I am still feeling the lingering results from it.

BK informed me that www.brucekimmel.com is down. I tried to contact the host provider, but the phone has been disconnected, his website is down and I emailed him. I hope I hear back. If not I'll have to find a new one. I might go with BK's provider or with GODADDY which hosts www.larrymooremusic.com

DR Elmore3003 -- what is the title of the Anthony Warlow CD to which you've been listening?

I realize I have a LOT of writing to do this week, by Friday.  I have to do the booklet notes for The Brain.  And here's an interesting conundrum - we want to do a twelve-page full color booklet, because we have all those great color photos and I really want people to see what the show looked like.  The designer thought it would be fun to include the lyrics, but after having seen the layout, it doesn't leave room for pix at all, and I just don't like the look of it.  I think the lyrics are pretty easy to understand - everyone enunciates clearly, so my instinct is a brief history, a brief synopsis, and LOTS of photos.  Opinions?

Then I have to write the booklet notes for The Creature Wasn't Nice soundtrack release.

I say go with PHOTOS!!!

This wonderful recording of tenor-baritone duets; it's primarily Victorian and Edwardian parlour songs, which I love, and this one as well:

This swing album is quite delightful as well, and he's also on the Australian cast recording of THE SECRET GARDEN, and on a couple of Gilbert & Sullivan DVDs from Australia that are available on Region 1 DVD:

This is exactly what I was just thinking...before I read your post. ::)

BK, you could have a special section on Kritzerland.com with all the lyrics that you wanted to put there.  The Manhattan Transfer's fan site has lyrics to all of their albums (and CDs)...with this disclaimer:

This archive is furnishing the referenced lyrics to be used only for purposes of private study, scholarship, or research. A user who copies such items for other uses may be in violation of copyright laws. Many items in this archive do not contain individual copyright notices. The lack of a notice does not necessarily mean than the work is not protected by copyright law.

As Shayne notes, his site is down, and I recommend he switch over to godaddy today and not wait for Mr. Bakalor - I also e-mailed to no response.

Me too---but I'm just now reading the notes after my session. Pictures, yes, and lyrics on the site.

What looked like a dry month is starting to soggify.

DR Ben, the S&V NY premiere is March 23rd, so I will be up for that. Here's the particulars:

Tuesday evening greetings!  I got up this morning with a slightly upset stomach and feeling like I was getting DH Richard's sore throat.  Called in sick to work and lounged on the couch all day watching the President Ford funeral.  Not feeling much better, but not any worse, so I'll probably go to work tomorrow.  Just the blahs, I guess.

I'm about written out.  Did a rough draft of some introductory "history" notes for the Brain, and must still do a synopsis.
