Thank you, DR der Brucer!  I think you should do what the doctors and nurses tell you!

Greetings from the atrium of Atrium Medical Center, where I'm waiting to be admitted.  Yes, the doctor sent me directly here for an ultrasound which detected a blood clot.  I don't know too many details, but am not a happy camper.

Hang in there!

Does this mean I should take my PLAVIX?

if the doctor told you to....YES!!! :)

My home care nurse has been here to give me a blood thinner shot (ouch!), get me started on the pills, and answer a bunch of my questions.  A different nurse will be here at 9 in the morning.  This is much better than being in the hospital.

Question: Did Frank Sinatra REALLY win the Oscar for FROM HERE TO ETERNITY?

[Mercedes McCambridge doesn't look in the envelope.]

Look at the video, then you decide:

Looks like the envelope was already open and the card on top of it

Very sad about Pernell Roberts. I read his obit and was quite surprised to know that he was married.

I was quite surprised four times! :-)

I admire him that he had the guts to leave a hit series and not fade away like so many other "stars" who thought they were better than their shows.

Another day, another blizzard.   There was a time when a blizzard warning would prevent me from even thinking about leaving the house.  Now I'm at the office, going to court, acting like it's a normal day. So was nearly everyone else!

I've been watching some other clips from the fifties and it seems the envelope is already opened and the card is lying on top. I wonder what year that stopped and the presenter opened the envelope in fron of the audience

think of all the time that saved, they should begin doing it again.
