I finished my afternoon of viewing by watching a CLOSER episode. Since we were talking about Flynn and Provenza this morning, what better way to anticipate this than by watching their episode from Season 2 "To Protect and Serve," which is one of the most entertaining from the second season.

Still haven't decided what I'll be watching when I go back down but it'll be one of two popcorn movies: either DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE on Blu-ray or THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK on HD-DVD.

There's more than one?

You betcha, Red Ryder.

Each Oscar nominated for Best Film, each an Oscar winner for Best Art Direction.

I have to assume that this person was undercover in some way and not really a Chinese spy.

The first two episodes of Season 4 are used to unwind this story arc - a fun journey even if the destination is presumed.

But it gets a run for its money in Season 3's "Saving Face" - when they drop the casket.

I was being sarcastic. I loathe Luhrmann's MOULIN ROUGE.

Heading down now to do a last minute check with my tax info that I'll need tomorrow morning when I work on the returns, and then I'll head back to the home theater for more viewing.

I'm with DR Elmore re Moulin Rouge.  The first is wonderful visually but the dialogue is so "wooden".  I hope never to see the Baz production again.

The cherry blossoms here are gorgeous, but we're having thunderstorms all day, which are  knocking off the blossoms. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted!

Speaking of squrrels, we have a lot of activity here in the morning, when I line the deck railing with bird food and peanuts. Then the cats sit with me on the screened-in prorch and watch the action while I have my morning cereal.

Who needs HDTV?

And last night, we noticed two guys cruising the neighborhood very slowly. They stopped in front of our house and seemed like they were up to some suspicious activity. (We have a lot of car break-ins at night.)

Turned out they were workers remodeling a house in the neighborhood and had caught a squirrel in the attic, in a Have-A-Heart trap. They were looking for somewhere to release it and thought our yard was the perfect place. They were quite embarrased to be caught, and they were afraid of the squirrel, explaiining that they were "city boys".

My DH told them that squirrel are very territorial and he might not survive, and then directed them to a nearby park.

Bonnie and Buster ("The Blonds") enjoy sitting on my bed and calmly watching both the birds and squirrels - but let the local cat stray into sight and all hell breaks loose! A large well-fed white cat likes to use our yard as a short-cut to the wetlands next door - he never bothers with our livestock.

Today's rehearsal was just technical stuff- we did all the scene shifts, which is a lot, then ran music, and I also blocked the very end of the show.

We all went to a place called Chili's for lunch.  It was the first time the entire company has dined together.  I had the mixed appetizers, which I must say were out of this world - Buffalo wings (all drumettes), spinach/artichoke dip, and best of all the Southwestern Egg Rolls.  We'll be going back there quite often now.

Now I'm back at the theater, watching the mandatory build and posting and entering all our little changes into our master script.
