Todays TOD;I love the look of MEET ME IN ST LOUIS, the GODFATHER films, and LA CONFIDENTIAL;Yesterdays tod, I was driving in the country, enjoying Mich's latest snowfall scenery, listening to the Anthony Perkins CD.Half the songs were from a Epic lp, 10 or so were aimed at the teen market, songs about being in  high school, the Space program(if there's life on Mars, there's hope for me)Todays music wa the complete STUDENT PRINCE on Jay records, which I'm liking a lot. Also caught a flick on Fri, RUN FAT BOY RUN, with fave Simon Pegg. It's not as sharp a genre tweaker as Hot FUZZ or SHAUN of the DEAD, but its a very sweet comedy romance ,a la ROCKY spoof.

Saturday morning greetings!  The way to get the hotel business center to oneself is to arrive at 6:15am  8)

Today I'll attend 2 sessions at the convention center, but have to leave without hearing the closing speaker, Paula Poundstone.  When I made my plane reservations there was another speaker scheduled who didn't interest me and who had to be replaced.  Staying for Paula would make my getting back here to the hotel for my luggage, getting on the shuttle, and getting to the airport on time pretty tense.  Sue will have to listen and laugh for me.  She has a later flight back to Dayton (I'm flying into Cincinnati).

Last night's all-conference reception, sponsored by one of the big technology vendors, was fun.  Lots of great food and a "State of the Loon" Minnesota variety show.  That was kind of lame, but not totally corny - reminded me of the talent from small towns that's sometimes on A Prairie Home Companion.

Apparently, being here at 6:30am(CDT) is the way to have HHW to oneself, too.

TOD
Many movies in the 3 strip technicolor process

BUT
usually if the sets were gorgeous the movie was so so.

Q: How did you like the movie?
A: The sets were spectacular!!

Fortunately, a glowing Mercury-Uranus parallel (6:19PM PDT) can give you plenty of insights - allowing you to nip burgeoning problems in the bud.

The biscuits are so good, but alas - they never seem to have them in inventory.

But today they did.

So it's a banner day.

Who is responsible for the biscuit inventory?

I thought you were.

I thought you were.

Somebody at the drive thru wants a biscuit.

Damn.
