I got up at 6:30 am on a Saturday...that is just wrong.

Now I would like to go back to bed, however I must shower and shave and hie myself to the south of Salem to take Mustafa out to The Original Pancake House for breakfast and to look through assorted job announcements that I printed off for him.

I shall now be on my way to the Heim of Ana for a four-hour rehearsal, a two-hour break, and a three-hour set build during which I will be posting a running or, at the very least, walking commentary.

DR Elmore:

You asked me about this the other day, and I'm happy to tell you that the second season DVD set of PSYCH will street (so sorry, DR George) on July 8th.

Thank you, DR MattH.  That does make me happy.

Your "street" has me thinking about other nouns becoming verbs that I think are hilarious:
   Detrain
   Deplane
   Plate
They've become the verbal shorthand of computer and texting (another verb!) lingo: How R U?

...Today I'll attend 2 sessions at the convention center, but have to leave without hearing the closing speaker, Paula Poundstone.  ...
What is she going to speak about, children's libraries?

Or does anyone out there remember?   :P

I guess I will head down now to check the mail and think about what's for lunch. Usually Saturday mornings fly by, but this morning has not. Surprising.

Thank you for these. I'm guessing I know which murder suspect you mean as you and I talked about this some months ago, and if it's the actor I'm thinking of, this makes me very, VERY excited.

Quite possibly...from near the end of season one?

I am dragging my feet getting ready to leave the house for dance class. The A train is not running past 168th street. I hate it when the A train does not run past 168th street.

Good Morning!

I'm up, I'm up... And, actually, I've been up for a while.  I wanted and tried to sleep in today, but my body got me out of bed a little after 8:00.  However, since the rest of the apartment was still asleep, I used that "extra" hour or so to enjoy the silence and to have the downstairs to myself.  I had my oatmeal, washed my bowl, read the newspaper, read the latest issued of "New York" magazine... And not a single single singer or piece of hard-to-read sheet music in sight. AHhhhhhhh... :)

DR Ron Pulliam - I hope that you are not up at this ungodly hour because of sinus activity.  :(

No.  I am "spring cleaning".  I was off all day Friday and spent the day clearing out/cleaning out clutter and debris from "life."

After achieving critical mass in piling up stuff to either toss or wash, I tossed out the trash and  began washing stuff.  I  was waiting for my last load  of the evening/morning to  be done when I engaged in keyboard activity.

I now have loading and unloading activities to perform.  Loading my car for stuff going to storage, loading my car for stuff going to my office for future auction, and loading my car  for stuff to donate to charity.  Each load is a different trip.

Tomorrow, major dusting followed by cleaning of the carpets.

Monday will be a day of rest/relaxation and, given what  I've thrown out/given away, possible regrets.

Peanut Butter Cookies and my now "signature" Oatmeal-Chocolate Chip-Pecan Cookies.

-And I believe the "air" from the oven wafting through the apartment acted as a sort of alarm clock for my roomies.  ;)

And after what I just received in the mail this morning, it appears that I currently have only one outstanding invoice yet to be paid (to me). :)!  *Of course, due to a change in office personnel, some of the payments I received today were almost two months late, however, since the rent is due next week, I guess that was a good thing.  ;)
