Had an okay rehearsal, mostly running music because we had to be upstairs instead of where we're doing the show. And the stage upstairs is really too small to run much. Rehearsal was supposed to be from noon to five, but I let everyone go at three-thirty as it was just pointless. I had an actress get irritated to me and get all defensive because I call her out on knowing NONE of her lyrics after two weeks. She gets through one line and has to look at her script and even the one line is wrong. I cannot tell you - well, I can - she has one song that consists of three verses consisting of six lines each. I was warned about this and she was told that she had to come in knowing her lyrics before the first music rehearsal. And here we are. So I know if I don't make a deal about it that it will continue, but she got defensive with me, which you never really want to do when you're in the wrong. She said she was nervous doing it in front of people - well, what's gonna happen when there's a full house? Then it's because all the lines are similar. Okay. I think it's really time for Doug to have a conversation with her about promises unkept.
