Ushering tonight for Beethoven’s 9th. I understand it’s sold out. Nice.

Very hot again today.  Had the birthday lunch with Grant at Barone's - he wanted sausage only on the pizza - wasn't as good as the pepperoni, but still good - I was very good and only had three pieces, which is the equivalent to one and a half pieces of normal pizza.  I had a salad, too, as did he.

Picked up some packages, got my Claritin-D and came home.  I finished a lyric or at least a rough version of a lyric that I'm sure I'll finesse, but that's one more song down, once I set the three lines in the bridge that I hadn't set yet.

Of course Welcome to My World - this is what happens when you're writing notes and sneezing every three seconds - the brain stops functioning.

All I can say is, welcome to my world.

:)

Do you use either of those sprays?

I had trouble with Rhinocort but was ok with Flonase.  I used it on and off for years in Ashland.  When I used it I found my allergies were not as bad.  My allergies seemed to improve even without using it anymore, worse than on it but not bad enough I feel the need for the spray.

Keith goes on and off the Rhinocort as it does seem to help him.

I am back from the Heights.

It was a pretty good college production, but I saw one at a high school that had a leg up on this one in some ways. The pro band was great.

But it was all too loud. I find myself complaining about this more and more. Every note, every moment, is turned up to eleven with no contrast, no nuance, no relief.

The Les Miz last month was even worse. But...it would be.  :)

The concert was wonderful. Of course, the Beethoven was stirring but I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the guest cellist on Elgar’s Cello Concerto. His encore was a sternly beautiful Bach Sarabande.

The house was full. The patrons behaved. That made me happy.

It’s the same at the dance studio. Way too loud.

It looks like I'll be in Redmond WA June 12-14.  That way, I'll be able to see the Thurs. June 14th pay-as-you-can preview (I think that's what they call it) of Last Starfighter, and get to hang out for the last two nights of tech, which should be exciting.

All of May, the first half of June, and all of July we have nothing planned.  The second half of June is crazy trying to accommodate dates to see people and attend events.

On the upside Fred, this new date offers a possibility of our getting there where your original date of June 22nd was the night before a Bar Mitzvah in Michigan.

Am I correct you do not plan to return at a later date, maybe for the last performances?

Jane, I'm just planning the one trip.

How far away are you from Redmond?  also George?  TCB?  Are you near Redmond?

Finished with my viewing.  I could stand not one minute more of Alice - really bad - so switched to a rather intense and unpleasant film but an awfully good one.

Has anyone else besides DR George seen THOR: RAGNAROK?  We finally watched it tonight and it was just what we needed.  The last few nights our viewing was not very cheerful and the book I was reading was sad.  Thor was fun and entertaining. 😊

It did not rain today so we took a long walk just shy of 2 hours.  Later it was even nicer out as the wind had died down so we took a short walk.  About 10 minutes after we returned home it began to pour. We lucked out on our timing.  The rain is expected through Wednesday.
