Until later. :)

Here's the real question - what ISN'T moving to Broadway?  According to every producer of every show being done in every town everywhere, everything is moving to Broadway.

Yes, perhaps so, and some of them deserve to get there.

And there are actually some available theaters now to house them, too.

DR Elmore, according to the producers of LIFE ON MARS, that ending was always the intended ending. They just didn't know when they'd be using it. They also had a different story to use as a season finale if the show had been picked up for another season. I guess we'll never get to see that sequence.

I continued watching more HAWAII FIVE-O episodes. That bubonic plague one had Bert Convy as the primary guest star along with Nehemiah Persoff.

Another had to do with this family of serial killers headed by Slim Pickins and Barbara Baxley. Bo Hopkins was their son.

We're under a winter storm watch for the weekend.  We could get 7-12 inches of snow...yikes!

Next, I watched last night's LIFE. Very good episode that I didn't guess completely the identity of the murderer.

Tonight's BONES was a very good episode, and the murderer's identity was a total surprise.

I DO not like that particular intern.

Good Evening!

Another good rehearsal.  We started deconstructing Act 1 and then started putting it back together.  Almost.  There are still a couple of things to fine tune, but we have the time for that work.  The cast is learning the truth in the adage: Dying is easy, Comedy is hard.

DR George - Was that King Herod or Mimi from "The Drew Carey Show"?  Or both?

In other news...

It's still raining here in Charleston.  In fact, we're dealing with some brief thunderstorms, and some "light" flooding.  On the drive back to the apartment, I actually had to stop to let a family of frogs hop across the road in front of me.  I've never seen that before.

Here's the real question - what ISN'T moving to Broadway?  According to every producer of every show being done in every town everywhere, everything is moving to Broadway.

Well... When it comes down it, I think I'd rather pass a theatre where a show is up and running, rather than a dark one.  Walking down 44th Street this past January and February was truly depressing.  And regardless of what some may consider "foolishness", if there are producers willing to put up the money to put on a show, more power to them!  It's always nice to have some "believe" in you and your work.  -Especially in this current economic climate.

bk - As for addressing those envelopes...

Since your orders come in via e-mail, you could "simply" cut and paste the names and addresses into a document, then format them to go into a database.  -You just add commas as a "delimeter" between the name and each line of the address.  Printed addresses also get processed faster at the Post Office since the machines can scan them - and not have to be hand-scanned and sorted.  And as DR JMK has noted before, you can even use the USPS's own online mailing tools to handle the addressing, postage and bar-coding.  I'm sure you could find a local "helper" to help you with that.

Which DRs went to Hamilton High School in Los Angeles?  -Since that is where Jerry Colker went to high school.

In other news...

I borrowed one of the vacuum cleaners from the theatre offices so that I could tidy up the carpet here at the apartment.  When I started it up earlier today, I noticed that it really wasn't doing much of anything.  The motor was running, but the brushes weren't spinning and the contents of the canister just seemed to be sitting there.  It turned out that the belt was broken and that the canister and filter appeared not to have been cleaned out in a while, probably never.  So, after a run to K-Mart to purchase a new belt, installing it and cleaning out the canister and filters, I started it back up.  Everything seemed to be working fine now, but after a few seconds, I noticed that the canister had already filled up again.  Hmmm... So, I emptied it out again.  Then started it back up again... Then emptied it out again.  Apparently, there was a lot of "stuff" that had built up inside the vacuum over the past year or so.  That's when I noticed that there was another filter in the top of the canister, a round one.  I took it out, placed it inside a small garbage bag, gave it a knock, and this "donut of dirt" fell out.

Needless to say, the vacuum cleaner really(!) works now.

I am still near Grand Forks and I will only take a few things back to my apartment due to the upcoming second crest which is supposed to be as high as the first in less then two weeks.

I have gone through and cleaned and repacked most of the stuff that was hastily moved. I will clean what is left before moving everything back on. Oh well... spring cleaning will be done early this year. :)

Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts and words... You are gems.....

however, the battle is not over. The southern part of the valley had another two feet of snow and that has to melt. It has been a bizarre winter.
