I'm packing up bags and bags of stuff to take donate to the shelter.  They need beds too so I'm washing those.

I still have, and am keeping, Echo's bowl and plan to keep Sherlock's bowl.  Echo's is a Bernese Mountain Dog one and Sherlock has a pretty bowl from Carmel that sits in nice looking stand.  I still have the stand out with water for Yogi.  I like it there but I think Keith wants it put away.

I just learned that the Tabard Theatre in London is performing JUBILEE this summer as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations. I won't get to see it, but it will be a lovely royalty check, I'm sure!

Makes me want to go to London.

Do you really need an excuse like this to want to go to London ;)
No. Just funds.

You're announced:

"Orchestrations & Vocal Arrangements by LARRY MOORE."

Congrats, Larry! ;D

I suspect, from their casting breakdown, that it will be a tiny show with a cast of 10- principals and an ensemble of six. I doubt the orchestra will be more than piano, bass and drums, but I wish them well with it.

When my sister and I went shopping together in Michigan I bought a 3-drawer storage unit for my crafting papers.  With my handy-dandy Phillips screwdriver, I just assembled it and filled it up!

After our last dog, I said no more dogs. So far I have stuck to that. I'm not sure about cats. I would like to have just one cat, I think. Or else I'd like to have just fosters.

This is my high school study hall, which you can see was actually, um, a hall.  It was the 3rd floor back hall that went behind the fly space above the stage in the auditorium.  They just walled in each end and VOILA! a study hall:

I would like to do just fosters but Keith said no, too hard to give them up.

DR Jane, I know a cat that might soon need a home*....if you don't mind an overweight, super fluffy orangish cat named Princess whose only activity is going from your bed, to your lap, to the food bowl, and starting over again the next day (with potty breaks, of course).

*My niece Katie and her husband may need to move away from Salem, depending on where he gets a job at.

LOL-I would mind an overweight cat.

Why wouldn't they take their cat?  If Craig can move from Romanian and then all over the States with a dog and cat I would think they could take the one easy cat with them.

I don't think I've ever known it to be so cold in mid May.

So strange.  We've had summer weather for at least 2 months now.

Before we got our first dog we were at a pet store (before we knew what horrors they were) looking at puppies and wanting one desperately.  I asked the older couple next to us why they didn't take the puppy they liked.  The response was they were done having pets.  At the time I couldn't imagine such a thing, now I get it.

For me it is harder not to have a cat than a dog.

Will you be spending much time with your grand dog and grand cat?

She really wanted to do. And my sister wasn't home. I guess she will find a surprise. It was pretty nice actually.

I guess Glee has already started. It's 2 hours tonight. Maybe i'll start that now.

When I was in college I was working on my hot air balloon pilot license.  I love to fly in balloons.  It's been years now.  I had a friend who owned one and was in the hot air balloon club at the University of Iowa.

As far as small planes.  I enjoy them.  I've flown in them many times.  I actually think i feel safer in small planes than big jets, not sure why

I think it's great.  We all should do that. Then you know you're going to get a card you really like!

If Craig is away we, or one of us, will sleep with them & we will walk Yogi.  Yogi is an "interesting" dog & prefers to stay in his room when Craig is at work.  After Sherlock was diagnosed Craig kept Yogi in his room for Sherlock's comfort.  So far he has continued the practice.  I expect that will change over the weekend.

I like to visit with Kitty but she doesn't snuggle with anyone but Craig.

I'm getting excited about going to Memphis this week.  Cat/house sitter is lined up.  I signed up for a riverboat cruise one night of the meeting. It's a two hour cruise with barbeque, chinese food and live music.  I've never done the paddleboat thing, so I'm looking forward to that.  I think i'm going to try to find time to go to Graceland this time.
