I'm so sorry, jan.

My previous cat, Ebonie, was 12 years old when she died, which was about 4 1/2 years ago.

I have no cats but occasionally I see one roaming around here.

BK, would you get another dog?

I don't think I'd get another dog.  I have to go hither and thither too much.

How can it be 11:07 already?  I am so not in the mood to do notes yet, but I guess I have twenty minutes to get in the mood.

Listening to Sing Out, Sweet Land, which I have long wanted. Wonderful performances. Can't fault Alfred Drake at his finest, Burl Ives with Big Rock Candy Mountain and Bibi Osterwald with Casey Jones.

John, did you happen to also get Alfred Drake's Lucky To Be Me - A Life in Music?  I got it, and Sing Out, Sweet Land too, but I haven't had time to listen to either of them, yet.

We are saving the rain for this weekend.

Oh, no!  This weekend is the semi-annual Olympia Arts Walk, and Saturday is the Procession of the Species.

"And in a nutshell...
Created by the community for the community the Procession of the Species Celebration is a joyous, artistic pageant, embracing the languages of art, music and dance to inspire learning, appreciation and protection of the natural world. The intent of the Procession is to elevate the dignity of the human spirit by enhancing the cultural exchange that we have with each other and with the natural world... and to do that through imagination, creation, and sharing."

I'm ushering at the WCPA Friday evening and Saturday morning, then I actually bought a ticket to see Rise Up: The Hamilton Tribute Band.  That should be very good!

I just observe the Procession.  It's really fun to watch.

I am just repeating what they said on the news.  They are only right 50% of the time, so there is still hope.

I don't think rainy weather would stop the Procession, unless it's really bad.

The mortgage company sent me an email on what they need from me now.  They might as well have written it in Greek.  I don’t understand half of what they are requesting.
