Jed is doing very well.  Still working at the library, and enjoying it alright.  He really wishes he could do more theater, but the library schedule prevents it.  Aside from that, he seems to be loving life.

JR:  I actually got the last one in the store (the one I returned), and I don't think we want that one anyway, even though had it worked we probably would have loved it.  I think we need something a bit less bulky--our TV is in our bedroom.

Jose:  your post about "once upon a time" made me think of the Tony Bennett doc I just watched and reviewed.  Did you know that the A-side single he was promoting in 1962 was "Once Upon a Time" from All American, which he fully expected (and wanted) to be a Top 10 hit, until some record exec went bonkers over the flip side and told Bennett he should be pushing that instead.  It was a little tune called "I Left My Heart in San Francisco."

Watching Twin Peaks - I don't know exactly what episode I'm on, but I think it's around thirteen.

Good Evening!...

Yep, the airfares seem to be dropping again. :)

We got incredible fares about a month ago for our upcoming trip to NC.  Each round trip ticket (PDX to Raleigh) was less than $250.  Doesn't make me any less nervous about flying.   ::)

I also love it... It was great...

Funny about Enchanted - half of the people (including most here) that I've talked to have really loved it, and half really don't.  Interesting.

I've just purchased the Enchanted soundtrack from iTunes and downloaded it to my iPod.  Off to listen and probably sleep!

I finished watching the MURDER SHE WROTE episode I had started. Fewer famous faces than usual. The most famous of the non-regular cast was Geoffrey Lewis. Not one of Mrs. Fletcher's finest hours.

Oops! (Spoo!) I lied. David McCallum was also a guest star on the episode.

I have used "Once Upon a Time" for many auditions. It's one of my favorite all-time songs.

Next, I put in WITH A SONG IN MY HEART, but I didn't quite get to the end of it. She was singing "I'll Walk Alone" when I had to turn it off to begin my evening of TV entertainment. I'll finish it tomorrow.

I will say this about the WITH A SONG IN MY HEART transfer. I didn't have a problem with the skin tones as much as I did with the Technicolor registration problems.

And why didn't they have Dr. Drew Casper doing a running commentary with the film? I guess he's on a bonus feature, but I wanted a commentary with him drooling all over Hayward's looks and clothes the way he did with Lana Turner in THE PRODIGAL.

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES had some good scenes tonight. I enjoyed the show. I liked the Andrew story although I hope this means he's not being written off the show. Richard Chamberlain had a nice introduction. The Gaby story looks like it could go to some tension-filled places. Adam's stalker needed a lot more to pique my interest. So far she was just irritating.
