The new PM icon looks suspiciously like a Torah scroll.

One interesting thing. When you quoted someone who had quoted someone we used to only get the one quote. But i just got my quote and DR JMK's quote in my last message. Cool!

And i think you only have to hit post twice if someone else has posted a message since you started your post.

Btw, can someone tell me which page i have to go to to see which DRs are online now.

I'll never remember who I am or what addresses or passwords I've used if I have to re-register for each post.

As long as I can at least check the posts as they come in (which was even iffy at one point yesterday), I'm OK.

I spent yesterday being good to my ankle.  I had overdone it over last weekend, and I'm a volunteer and also participating in the AIDS Walk this coming Sunday, so I'm going to be on my feet for many hours, and I'm trying to be sensible (not my strongest point).

I had made great strides trying to get back some momentum in going through papers.  I had tried the day before but just couldn't concentrate on what I was doing so did errands instead.

Actually, I looked up a lot of clips on YouTube yesterday which was very fun.  One musical number or person just kept leading to another.  I watched everything from "Put the Blame On Mame" to "Stereophonic Sound."

Ah i just found the answer to my question.

If we go to the haineshisway.com/smf page we can see who is online at the bottom.

Btw, i remember smf because it reminds me of smurf.

I followed DR George's suggestions last night and got the quick reply button back.

There is button in the profile under "look and layout preferences" at the bottom re: quick replay.

And it works! Thanks.

On tv tonight:

Survivor (yeah!)
Ugly Betty
Smallville

The Canadian debates are actually on the same time as the US VP debates tonight.

Let's see if THIS works. I posted before, and it didn't post.

Good morning!

Things just don't feel right. I'm not bitching; I know what a headache this has been for bk, but all this reregistering and new names and stuff is a real turn off.

Yesterday's day from hell here was nothing.

We were having a family dinner for the Jewish holidays and my niece was watching tv on my bed. Well she screams for me to come and my whole system had gone down (it's called illico, sort of like tivo).

I asked her if she had done anything. And she was sort of rolling on the remote. So i figured she had just rolled over on it. I tried to reboot the system but nothing. She was quite upset (at not getting to watch her program and thinking she had broken it).

It turns out the whole city had this problem (well anyone who has this system).

Thankfully they were able to reboot my machine at 7:58pm. So i got to record pushing daisies and so you think you can dance canada.

It was sort of upsetting though during the dinner. Cause i didn't know what the problem was (their lines were jammed).

Well, that DID work, so I guess I'm back.

Yesterday, I did my usual viewing. I work on CLICK AND CLACK'S AS THE WRENCH TURNS (which I found more promising than successful). I watched LOST and CSI: NY last night, neither as good as last week's episode.

I also found time to watch IRON MAN again which I thoroughly enjoyed except for that silly rbot fighting ending that's completely anticlimactic.

I need to pick and poke around in the profile section again as I hate what hoops it puts you through to post. I know these reminders can be turned off, and I need to work on that.
