As for the varying sizes of the avatars, I believe it's related to the resolution of that the avatar was saved in. So...

And since your "old" avatar is still attached to your "old" screenname, it's not accessible. -However, I do like the having a choice of famous actors to use as an avatar.

Sorry to be contrary, but I didn't have to do that last step to get it to change for me.

I did. It took me a couple of tries before I figured out the changes wouldn't take unless I did that last step.

With a Quick-Reply you can use bulletin board code and smileys as you would in a normal post, but much more conveniently.
