But, DR Jose, didn't *we* have our ice cream today?

Well... I did have a sip of my friend's Ricotta-Pistachio Shake at Stand4.  That was close to ice cream.

DR DtM - that's what I had a few weeks ago.  And today I am coughing with a sore throat.....and or course tomorrow is a work day.

Thank goodness I don't have to watch men dancing together or kiss another actor....I would have to quit.

Close enough, I guess...

I saw the two men dancing on SYTYCD.....and they were not good.  THEY FELL DOWN.....it was generous of the judges (their homophobic comments aside) - to send them through to the choreography round.

DRs MattH and/or JMK and/or any other DRs...

I noticed that this was playing in the theatres over in the Philippines.  I just looked it up on the IMDB, and it appears that it went Direct-To-DVD here in the states...

The guilty parties at KSA are Victoria Morris, who, from all I've heard, is a very, well, uppity lady, and someone named Jicole, who is the one who called to say she didn't think any of their clients were right for the show.  I'm sure the clients who ARE right for it would be a little dismayed.

One day into the weekend.  Two days to go.  Yea.

Hello everyone.

The rest of the year is always fun, a three day weekend every other month.

It took me way too long to read yesterday's and today's post, so my seat hurts, time to get up and put on some music.

And have some dinner.

See you later.

I don't have anything to say today, except that I really enjoyed the gray, cloudy, drizzly weather while it lasted.

Victoria Morris is a good agent.  She may be "uppity", but she gets the job done.  In their "defense", KSA's L.A. office handles mainly TV and movie work, so there probably are a bunch of their clients who would not be right for your show - and would probably not go in, nor show up for a theatrical audition anyway.

If you happen to know anyone in KSA's New York office, that would be the route to go.  Have them call out to their bi-coastal clients, and, right now, there are plenty of them.

I watched last night's FLASHPOINT while I cooked and ate lunch. As usual with this show, I was in tears by the end of the episode. It was a rerun, but since I was so late joining the FLASHPOINT party, it was a new episode for me.

Was it the one with the psycho wife holding a hostage at knife point? (And the one with the Sam and Jules relationship progressing?

No, no knife involved in this one.

Speaking of closet cases, my one non-operatic BD is VALKYRIE, starring you know who(m).

Aren't you a bit late on a review - it's already on the store shelves.

der Brucer

As Matt H. can probably second, they have a new policy of not releasing review copies until street date.

I did already in a later message! I, too, received VALKYRIE (and I wasn't supposed to). Trying to find out now who's going to do it.

As for "SYTYCD?" - Ah, yes, Nigel not Simon.  Thanks for the correction/clarification.

You're welcome. As I said, I don't watch the show, but his comments made the internet "wire" services, so I did read them.

I began my evening of viewing by finishing the NCIS episode I had begun from the season 3 set about the mysterious burned corpse. I didn't remember this episode much either as the resolution of the mystery was a complete surprise.

Then I watched S. DARKO for today's work project. It is a really pathetic film with some of the worst acting I've seen in some time.

There were only a handful of bonus features and the commentary, so it didn't take me long to get this work project finished (except for the writing, of course).

Next I watched THE WALKER which I had recorded off Showtime-HD. Pretty fair little mystery with Woody Harrelson playing a gay man. Good cast: Lauren Bacall, Kristin Scott Thomas, Lily Tomlin, Ned Beatty, Willem Dafoe).

When I finished that, I began rewatching SAVE ME which I had recorded again off Showtime. I haven't gotten around to buying the DVD; it'll likely be on my CHristmas list, but I enjoyed it the first time I saw it and got about a hour of it watched before I needed to come upstairs to start writing up today's review disc.

Looks like I'll be able to finish that box of 9 Blu-rays tomorrow when I tackle the last of them: SETH MACFARLANE'S CAVALCADE OF CARTOON COMEDY. After that I have that Steven Seagal movie DRIVEN TO KILL, VALKYRIE (if I end up doing it), and three TV-related collections.

So, I went for a walk in Central Park, and saw this as I walked across the still-in-the-midst-of-being-refurbished Oak Bridge:

I'm going for a walk now: down the stairs and into my bedroom to go to sleep.

Good night!

I am at the lake. When I walked into the house (my parents close it up for the winter and just opened it this week) I smelled the unmistakeable smell of dead mouse.  YUCK!  They said they found a couple but that they were all gone.  I said "I don't think so" anyway, the bathroom in the basement was pretty disgusting, so I got the clorox out  and mixed it with hot water and went to work.  My mom started running the vacuum and  soon I heard "OOOOOO GROSS!!!"  Yup, it was a dead mouse.   So guess who got to pick up the little creature and bury him at sea....well flush him.

More clorox more scrubbing, some fabreeze and washing all the towels and thow rugs and things smell ok in here now.  Man that was disgusting!

I better get some sleep.  Everyone gets up early here. I'm sleeping right next to the kitchen, so I'm sure I'll hear them and I have to leave my door open for Phoebe the cat.
