[Druxy]

A talking frog goes into a bank and approaches the teller.
He sees right away from her window nameplate that her
name is Patricia Whack. (He can read too!)

"Miss Whack, I would like to get a $30,000 loan in order to take a
holiday," he says.

Patty looks at the frog in disbelief. In keeping with bank policy
pertaining to customer relations, she asks the frog his name.

The frog says that his name is Kermit Jagger, adds the fact that his dad
is Mick Jagger, and that it is ok to give him the loan as he knows the
bank manager personally.

Patty explains that he will have to secure the loan with some
collateral, to which the frog replies, "Sure, no problem, I have this"
and produces a tiny porcelain elephant about half an inch tall, bright
pink and perfectly formed.

Very confused, Patty explains that she will have to consult with the
bank manager and disappears into the back office.  She finds the
manager and says, "There's a frog at my window who says his name
is Kermit Jagger, he claims to know you and says his dad is Mick Jagger...
AND he want to use this as collateral."

She holds up the tiny elephant and says "I mean, what in the world is this thing???"













The bank manager looks back at her and says,
"It's a knick-knack, Patty Whack, give the frog a loan.
His old man's a Rolling Stone."

That's terrible.  So, why am I laughing?

Well, after a day of much eating at work (our annual holiday potluck was filled with food and frivolity), it's now time for me to go to the theater.  We need to be there early today, so that some pictures can be taken in costume and on the set.

Well, A Very Merry Unauthorized... premiered off-Broadway in 2003.  So... In any case...  There seem to be quite a few productions of it this year all over the place/country.

I think enough of us remember der B and myself loading five count 'em five dogs in the car five years ago and driving cross country from Los Angeles to our present digs in lower slower Delaware.

Sure do.  I bet it was as much fun as a few of our moves.  A few of our combination's were 2 kids, 2 dogs, & 3 cats; 2 kids, 2 dogs, 1 cat & two gerbils; and the easiest mix of 2 older children, 1 dog & 4 cats driving 10 hour days from Michigan to Northern California.  Wow, we never moved with 3 large dogs at once.  I wonder how we got go lucky.

I must go.  I have tons to do the next couple of days so don't be surprised if I'm not here.  The DS's & their fiancee's arrive next week & I realized I have run out of time.  We have a birthday, Chanukah, Christmas & an extra celebration to prepare for.  I doubt I will even have time to make & send fudge or other gifts as I must get the house ready.

To celebrate the fact I have now lost 20.2 pounds, I bought myself a really nice gift pack at Bath and body. It was on sale. I also bought some Christmas presents.  It was nice to get out and go shopping.
