Sugar has taken me or 4 walks today so far and made friends with 4 kids, the mail woman, an old man at a bus stop, 2 joggers, etc.

She's going to have me in great shape in 2 weeks.

And Bruce, being alone this evening is not such a bad thing.   Two friends whose romances collapsed have made me realize how lovely my time is.  Yes, a warm breath on the back of neck, a kiss, etc., would be nice, but I hug lots of people, and that will do for now.

JMK - What if the putz reads HHW?

Well, I guess that would be a suitable punishment...  ;D

I'm watching Charlie Brown Valentines shows.  I always identified with Peppermint Patty. Which Peanuts character does anyone else identify with

Keith calls me Pig Pen. ;D

Perhaps - with a lot of Sally mixed in.

Finished watching the Bollywood movie I started last weekend, MISSION ISTANBUL (2008), an action film with the heros fighting a terrorist cell.

Every action film cliche ever is in this film and it was driving me crazy. Although I do think Nikitin Dheer might be a new favorite actor.

And there were a couple of amusing scenes featuring an actor playing George W. Bush not knowing where/what Turkey (the country) is, and that the US can't attack India because we would lose all the call centers and our economy would collapse. I guess India is not too fond of GWB.

Watching a long motion picture - it's enjoyable, though.  I'm really chilly, even though the heat is on and working fine.

Happy Valentine's Day to all!

My valentine is currently winging his way to LA. Too bad he won't have time for the Collector's Show...

Any photos from the Hollywood Show?

How was DR DRUXY doing?

I sold/signed a few books, which is the reason I was there.

Hey, I like seeing sugar laden and fattening. I don't gain weight by looking at them.

Oh, have I mentioned I'm now half way to my goal. I've lost 35 pounds!

Congratulations, Cillaliz!

I'm at 31...I seem to be stuck here.

I'm spending Valentine's Day evening alone - and I'm not so happy about it.

Me, too. At least Greg is in the same city with YOU!

Did you know that the title song for that film, written by Paul Francis Webster and Sammy Fain, was almost thrown out of the picture?

No major recording artist wanted to record it.  Not Tony Martin.  Not Doris Day.  Not Nat "King" Cole.  Nobody!

Finally, Fox got The Four Aces to record it, but in order to do that, they had to cover the cost of an entire album.

Of course, the tune went on to win the Oscar and become one of the greatest love songs of all time.

bk, if you go back tomorrow and see Bruce Davison, please tell him hello from Amy Baker in Georgia. He was the first actor I ever worked with, on SUMMER OF MY GERMAN SOLDIER. He was so nice to everyone that I thought that's what all actors are like. Boy, it didn't take many films to prove that theory wrong!
