Got some chores that need to be taken care of now before today's cleaning takes place (living room).

I'm happy to announce that David Shire At The Movies, Kritzerland's first limited edition CD, is now up for preorder.  We should have copies in about two weeks.  I would order sooner than later - limited editions of film-related music don't seem to last that long these days, and this one is limited to only 1200 copies, several hundred of which will go to online specialty shops.  The CD is worth it for the four Maureen McGovern tracks alone.

So tonight I must pack in as compact a way as possible so I can take only a carry on and be able to fly standby.  If I make it on the two flights I'm hoping to get I would be in NYC by 12:30 rather than 4:00. That would be worth getting up early.

DR Cillaliz - You've applied your sharpest analytical skills and I hope this plan gets you headed east in front of the bad weather!  Give my regards to Broadway!

Several people have ordered - we need lots more.  Did everyone like the new home page on Kritzerland?  Now you see all of our titles at once.

That's pretty cool!  It's nice to see everything all laid out nice and neatly.

They talk a lot about DVD titles upcoming.  This includes their plans to re-do "The Music Man" in high def!!!

I wonder if they will include our documentary? And I wonder if bk ever watched it, as he had planned a month or two ago? He never said what he thought of it, and knowing how critical he can be of these sort of things...

Well after getting almost nothing done but fretting about all this all day, I have finally grabbed the brass ring.   I got someone at American who said Omaha wasn't in the weather waiver, but Chicago is for Thursday and I'm going through Chicago so there is no change fee!!!

So I will drive to Omaha tonight and catch a flight to LaGuardia via Dallas at 8:20 AM.  Don't know if it will go, but that leaves me all day to try to get there if it doesn't and I'm not going through Chicago. This is great news.  I better get busy, I have hotel reservations to change, people to call, packing to do and a drive to make

If this flight goes as planned I'll be at LaGuardia at 3:30 Pm tomorrow.  Woo Hoo! An extra day in NYC for the price of a hotel room. Suddenly that seems cheap

If I subscribe to digital cable - do ALL the tv's in my house have to be HD to get the premium channels?

I'm no expert, DR JRand, but I don't think that's necessary.  But what I remember from Comcast's menu, you not only have to subscribe to digital service, but to HD feed as well.  That's where it starts to get pricey.

Hmmm...I just checked Comcast's website.  HD is only $5.00 additional a month.  That's not too bad.  The digital service is $68.90--I'm now paying 54.95 for just basic cable.

Well, I'm about to turn off the computer and pull the plug, put a couple more things in the suitcase and I'm outta here.  Hotel reservations - check, Plane reservations - check, cat sitter - check, notified people who need to know - check, packed - check but in such a rush I have no idea what I'm taking!

I think the hotel in Omaha has high speed internet. I'll see you in a few hours
