Good Afternoon!

Well.. I haven't started packing yet, but I have laid out some of my clothes to be packed, so that's a start.

And, thankfully, I received a reminder from Delta about my flight tomorrow... which leave at 8:55am.  -I don't why I kept think I had a arranged for a mid-day departure... Oh, when I fly back to NYC on January I, it's a mid-day flight.  I guess that explains that.

Also, when I went to the fridge to take out my cup of yogurt for my breakfast/brunch, I discovered I had none, so I headed up the street to the grocery store, and, now, I have yogurt.

Or something like that.

Don't worry; he's used to it.    8)

...And as little Mikey sat there in front of the fireplace curled up in a ball, his head between his knees, his tears now co-mingling with the grass stains on his dungarees, he looked up for a last second, and through tear-strewn eyes he watched those last remnants, those last embers of Raggedy Ann and Andy flicker and glow in the fireplace.  All the while, that gray, mysterious and magical smoke filled the air, and eventually filtered into his lungs with each sobbing breath he took.

Question for KayeKid - Since you've been playing Danny Kaye in Kaye's life story, are you finding that when people do stage projects based on projects that Danny Kaye did in the past, they're thinking of you for those roles?

Don't I wish!!! I have never been approached to play any other Danny Kaye Role. I do know that they are supposedly developing a stage version of Hans Christian Andersen. We couldn't get any of the songs because the Loesser estate sold the Grand Rights. They gave us permission to use a snippet of Inchworm. We are very grateful.

I didn't know that there was any other Danny Kaye movie that he did being developed into a stage show. I know people have tried to obtain rights (Bruce apparently) but it's very difficult i have heard

I shall shortly be on my way to be Judge BK for some Hollywood High kids, which I'm very much looking forward to.  After that, I shall return.  Keep the home fries burning until my returning for which I know you'll be yearning.

The earlier shot was of the northern edge of my mom's yard and looking at the fog across the road over the pond below the one behind my mom's house.

In this photo, you see in the foreground the pond that borders the eastern edge of my mom's yard:

Hey Ron,

you are in Johnston SC? I am from Columbia SC. Are you from Johnston or just visiting? I am new so you will have to forgive if this is common knowledge.

I think we are going to drive over to Aiken SC this afternoon to do a little shopping.  I want to go to a Cingular store and have some adjustments made to my cell phone.

I'd love to find a shop that could replace my iPod Shuffle battery, but I doubt such a shop exists in these here parts.

Hey Ron,

you are in Johnston SC? I am from Columbia SC. Are you from Johnston or just visiting? I am new so you will have to forgive if this is common knowledge.

I was born in Rock Hill SC; moved to Johnston SC at age 1; moved to Greenville SC at age 8; and considered Greenville my Home (of record) all through my Navy career (until I retired in 1993.  My mom and dad moved back to Johnston in 1992.

So...it's home "away from" home as I live in Oakland CA.  I will retire (one again) to here when the time comes.

I have a cousin in Lexington (he's a doctor); a cousin in Whitmire (he's a dentist), and a cousin in Edgefield (she's an RN and manages an HMO).  Their mom, my Aunt Doris, lives across the street from my mom, her sister.

:)

~~~~~FEELING "OVER" THE WEATHER VIBES FOR DR JEANNE~~~~~
thank you, Jose. I often chuckle over the "under the weather/over the weather" phrase. Anyone know where that idiom came from?
DR Jeanne:  You sick?  I'm so sorry.  I hope it doesn't hurt and have a temperature.
I wish I could give you some of my chicken noodle soup.  I wish I could share some hot spiced tea with you.
Are you being taken care of????
