Now that parody made no sense

It actually made perfect sense to me, which is probably frightening.

There was a touring company of WSS here a few years ago.  At the climax, the gun didn't fire.  He tried again--nothing.  So he threw the gun at Tony (no joke).  Tony fell down.  Punchline:  sound effect of gun firing about 2 seconds later.

Attn Dearest

Permit me to inform you my heart desire for a business relationship  with

father on match 19th 2006, in a private hospital in Freetown, he secretly
called me by his bed side and told me of a deposit of 26 million united state
dollars (Twenty Six MILLION DOLLARS) he concealed in a SECURITY
COMPANY in Abidjan Cote D'Ivoire on the 2nd of JANUARY 2005 that he
used my name been the only son as the next of kin when he deposited the
money. the FUND WAS concealed IN TRUNK box as "family valuables and
precious items".My father used this method to deposit the boxes safely
through a diplomatic channel. They security company has no knowladge
about the content of the Box.

He warned me that because of enemy that he was poisoned by his close

country of my choice those associates will not hurt me as they have
succeeded in poisoning him and as at that time he don't know the faith  of
his sickness but he has been very weak and was considering if he will

I arrived here (ABIDJAN) in a nearby country not quite long ago, since  my
uncle wants to kill me because of this certificate of deposit as he  have
succeeded in collecting all my father's property left with this one  only.
They continuously mal-treated me, and have made life very unbearable  for
me. Only to get the deposit certificate from me, because he found the
deposit from the WILL my father made when the illness was too much and
he included the deposit in the Abidjan. He has succeeded in getting  every
other property in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

The wife have serve me a delicious poisoned rice meal last time, but  for
the Divine mercy the daughter secretly whispered to me not to eat the
meal, I wasted the meal to the bin only to find two dead rat on the bin  the
following morning and that made me to run away immediately.

And I don't want to stay long here since I know nobody or much money to
pay for hotel bill.I honourably seek your assistance in the following ways:

deposited it to be claim by his foreign partner and no name was  mentioned,

...And I could not believe how crowded the gym was this morning!  -Yes, I finally made it back to the gym - although, I really only was "away" for two days.  In any case...

There were lots of people at the gym this morning, and a lot of them thought it was social hour.  I was trying to go through my resistance circuit, but each time I got to a machine, someone was just lazing away... Talking with their personal trainer... From the gym!  One woman just kept sitting on one machine - I think she was there for at least 20 minutes - so I just went ahead and skipped that machine for the moment.  Of course, when I came back, she was still "working out"... while she was talking with her trainer.  Grrrrr...  She was asking him just how much weight she should be using and how many reps... "Oh.. OK... Well, let me adjust the pin, and I'll start again."  -Of course, after sitting on that machine for more than 20 minutes, well...  -Excuse me, are you done yet?  If you're resting between sets, could we just switch off?.  -Oh... Well, you want to use this machine?  You know that that one does the same thing...  No it doesn't... (And if her trainer was really paying attention to her, well...)...  But I did eventually get my workout finished, and then it was back home for quick breakfast and shower before heading to my meeting...

Well, it looks like things are falling into place for Thommie Walsh's memorial.  There are still a bunch of details to be finalized, but the lists have been made...  And now I have some practicing to do.  :)

All I will say about Next Iron Chef (for now) is that there are now just two chefs left in the competition.

And I'm about ready to sack out.

One thing that was shared at today's meeting were a set of Commandments that Thommie Walsh had delivered to the graduating class of Auburn (NY) High School, his hometown alma mater.  And now I share them with you:

Quote

1.   People are unreasonable, illogical and self centered.
       LOVE THEM ANYWAY!

2.   If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.
       DO GOOD ANYWAY!

3.   If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies.
       SUCCEED ANYWAY!

4.   The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow.
       DO GOOD ANYWAY!

5.   Honesty and frankness makes you vulnerable.
       BE HONEST AND FRANK ANYWAY!

6.   The biggest men with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest men with the smallest minds.
       THINK BIG ANYWAY!

7.   People favor underdogs but follow only top dogs.
       FIGHT FOR SOME UNDERDOGS ANYWAY!

8.   What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight.
       BUILD ANYWAY!

9.   People really need help but may attack you if you help them.
       HELP PEOPLE ANYWAY!

10. Give the world the best you have and you'll get kicked in the teeth.
GIVE THE WORLD THE BEST YOU'VE GOT ANYWAY!

             BELIEVE IN YOURSELVES!
                  ALWAYS.
                          THOMMIE WALSH

On the subject of "Meadowlark," and I know we've been down this road before, just HOW MANY RECORDINGS ARE THERE of this song?  a
Are there more than the nineteen or twenty listed at allmusic dot com?

I believe DR George may have the answer to that question.  Or maybe even DR Matthew.  I forget. ;)

I don't think I will ever buy an HDTV unless I can afford someone to install and calibrate it for me.

I would charge you the same fee that I have charged everyone else I've helped with this: zip!

I can't wait to discuss it tomorrow!

Last night, at the par-tay that der Brucer and I attended, a number of the guests kept looking at me and asking "Where do I know you from?"  I told them that I work at the supermarket, same as Joe (one of the hosts), at which they would say "Oh, YES!" and then would tell der B about how nice I am.  Der B just rolled his eyes and nodded politely.

Well...  I wonder what the other party guests are now saying about DR DerBrucer.  ;)
