Perhaps they wanted to surprise you upon your return?

Yep.

That was it.

Exactly.

Ben Colder's most successful songs were:
Harper Valley PTA (later the same day)
Son Don't Go Near The Eskimos.
Almost Persuaded #2

my favourite is his Johnny Cash "Teenage  Queen" parody
"Ballad Of A Mean Old Queen"

They are more Indian-food oriented. The DVD selection is nowhere near what Queens's Little India has to offer.

That is probably Ok as regards the DVDs...I don't think there are any Bollywood DVDs left for me to purchase anyhow, but I will certainly be wanting to eat some Indian while I am in NY!

For those with AOL, if you need a NAUSEATING fix today, click on the link to the plays that that killer boy in VA wrote.  Read the first play.  Okay, it's a little nauseating.  But then read a few pages of the 1500 posts that follow - it encapsulates perfectly everything that's wrong with the young people of this country, the internet and just about everything else.  Not only are these people stupid, but they are REALLY stupid, and, in certain ways, just as frightening as the killer boy.  I finally had to stop reading.  Eighteen is truly the new eight.

Does anyone know what I could use to fake a prison uniform? I would just get one, except that I can only find them in sizes ten times too large.

A real prison uniform is blue jeans and a blue work shirt with a white t-shirt under it. A jail uniform is the striped or orange jump suit you are used to seeing

I do hope you are referring to Indian cuisine.

I thought "Loving Repeating" was a gem. Great listening and certainly no need for visuals.

I received my DVD of "A Man Of No Importance" this week.  A beautiful film and I like the musical version very much indeed,

We went to see Miss Saigon last night.  The new Scaled down production does not help it!  The Computer generated Chopper film works well but little else does.  20 years on and the flaws of the show seem more evident.

I was not loving repeating and so many of the melodies are!

Bui Doi is still the best moment in the show. It was difficult to feel for the characters as their voices did not display the warmth and vulerability of the Original London cast.  Strident and loud does not do it for me!

So often the chord progression (OK I have no idea what I'm talking about) did make you think Jean Valjean or Javert would arrive on the scene.

Our "production company: (think encores) has chosen to ppresent "Little Me" Sweet Charity" and "42nd Street" this year.  Adventurous they are not!  I'm not a fan of "Sweet Charity" at all, can do without 42nd Street for quite a few more years and do not want to see "Debbie Byrne" in "Little Me". (She was our Norma D, Grizabella and Fantine)

Which Bollywood movie has the West Side Story dance?

BHOOT BUNGLA...that black and white one starring comedian MEHMOOD which has the song Twist Karan and the cool big dance number towards the end of the film that starts outside a haunted house and then has a whole bunch of little kiddies dancing and singing with Mehmood around a giant slide.

You wrote about it in the notes a couple of years ago.

I never said West Side Story; I called the opening number in the gold 1960s Dance-at-the-Gym dresses and the masks in GUMNAAM the West Side Zorro number.

DR MISSKAREN - black marker on the leg is messy and not always effective.

You, too, can create the look of REAL seamed stockings.  Buy a pair of pantyhose (The Dollar Store kind will do) - iron the seam line.  Using a ball point needle and a zigzag stitch - make your own SEAMS!!!  Instant period stockings!!

And it really really works.  I didn't believe it either, but now anytime we do a period show requiring seamed stockings - all of our actresses (and some of our actors) can have them for a reasonable price!!

OMG - a man on Wheel of Fortune just "solved" the puzzle by saying:

Linguini with red claw sauce....  The lady next to him got the prize on her turn.

Around here such a photo can cause as much excitement as a photo of John Kander!!  Where else on all the internet, I ask you?
