I'm listening to Terfel's Lerner CD, "If Ever I Would Leave You", on recommendation of Der B. Love it!

To paraphrase Kim Novak, not only have I kept my size 30 waist, I've added so much to it.

Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever been able to fit into a size 30, even at birth. :)

DR DerBrucer - There should be a setting on your DVR that allows you to set the record times to start and/or end one to two (to five) minutes earlier or later than the scheduled times.  That feature truly comes in handy.  -And, of course, the TV networks run over in order to help boost the Nielsen ratings.

I'm planning on having Chik-Fil-A for lunch tomorrow myself.  There's one just down the road from my parents' new house.

DR elmore - -And, of course, those same people will audition each day this week for each set of producers.  And they will do the exact same audition each day.  -At least that's what happened last year when I played the three days of EPAs.  *And I'm still mystified by people who don't remember that I've played for them before, and played the exact same song with the exact same cuts... THREE DAYS IN A ROW!

So...

I decided to head to Carytown earlier just to see what was new, if anything.  I noticed a new restaurant, as well as a few stores that had shuttered and/or traded places along the strip.  And, yes, I did make a stop into For The Love Of Chocolate.  Alas, no Cherry Ripe bars, but they did have Crunchies, Violet Crumbles, Turkish bars, KitKats, Galaxys, etc., etc., etc.

I think that's when I'm seeing it again too.  And DR Jason too.  Although, maybe we're seeing the matinee.  I should double-check that especially since I'll/we'll be seeing it from house seats.  :)

After stocking up on English and Australian chocolates, I headed over to Steve's place, and we then headed to Joe's Inn for dinner.  Joe's Inn is a true Richmond institution.  Nothing fancy, just damn good food.  And tonight we got our usual - we split their Spaghetti a la Greek, and ordered an extra house salad with their house dressing.  Their Spaghetti a la Greek is a very generous portion of spaghetti topped with feta, provolone and romano cheeses, which is then baked to a bubby golden brown, then topped with Joe's amazing meat sauce.  And their bread was very good and fresh today too.  YUM!

Steve's mother is still in ICU, but she's stable.  And in this case, no news is good news, and there has been no news.

After dinner, Steve helped me get the plates off my car, and we even snapped a farewell photo which I shall post once I get it downloaded from my camera.  :)

It works for the entire cast of A Chorus Line, it can surely work for me, too...

Actually, I kinda need the $$ from Blonde, so if the matinee's available, that'd be best. But I ain't gonna pass up Patti/Gypsy...money be damned.

I began my evening of viewing with a MOONLIGHTING episode. As it turned out, it was the season 2 premiere. Charles Rocket played Bruce Willis' ne'er-do-well brother (brilliant casting; I really believed them as brothers) who found a briefcase with $100,000 in his car and began spending it. Of course, the hoods who stowed the money there came looking for it.

Not a mystery at all, but it was a fun episode.

Understand.

Well, I guess I could always see it twice again in one day.  ;)

In any case, I'll double-check on my ticket request in the morning.
