DTM, I was thinking something along the same lines but was not sure if I was going to go with Borg or Bjork!

Some of us are scheduled to see Vixmom on Sunday when we gather at Skip and Fred's for a brunch to welcome Edisaurus to New York. We will pass on your greetings.

I just got a wonderful new book yesterday from Amazon.com about the creation of OKLAHOMA!  I've been reading it in conjunction with DIVAS & SCHOLARS, one forediting and one for writing a history of BABES IN TOYLAND.  I think several DRs would enjoy this new study.

DR MattH, I sound like DR Jennifer, but is UGLY BETTY a repeat tonight?  I need to see some one-act operas and I may need to tape the program if it's not a repeat.  Thanks.

Hi there!  Yes, I do - though not as much as I used to.  I hope this helps.

One thing I DO like is creme brulee.

Lots of orders - at this point the only title that's almost gone is Peter Pan, which I had very few copies of - there are only three left.  If you're thinking of ordering and if you have friends who you think might like to know about the sale, let them know asap, and do try to get orders in asap.  I will confirm as I get the orders, and then it's just paying via paypal - simple as pie.

For those who have not already hoarded bk stuff:

No one should be without Liz Callaway - The Beat Goes On (I dare anyone to sit still while listening!)

Das Barbecue is an unexpected treat - very funny take on Wagnerian Opera (Anna Russell fans will love it)

I normally don't like Jazz, but the Trotter Trio are a treat!

Indulge yourself!

I read about that book on the Castrecl newsletter but I didn't think it was out yet.  I'll order it but I don't know when I'll get around to reading it--my "to be read" pile is sky high right now.

In local news: The daughter of the police chief was stopped for DUI. Do you suppose the charges will be dropped?

It has really been chilly out today, and the wind has been blowing making it all the cooler. I wanted to mow the grass and may get to it later this afternoon.

I began my afternoon of viewing with last night's MEDIUM. It was a fine episode but it ran pretty much to formula.

I did jump OUT of my chair when during Allison's dream the "possessed" woman, well, changed in appearance. Don't want to spoil the surprise for those who haven't seen it yet.

I then finished THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN which I had begun last night. Since I only got about 50 minutes into it last night, I had well over an hour to watch today. The transfer did look very good once we got past some dirt early on in the print used for transfer.

I got JUMP IN! in the mail today, the latest Disney Channel smash made-for-cable movie. As big a hit as HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL was when it was first shown, this outrated it, and now Disney is releasing it on DVD. Since it's only 85 minutes, I should be able to watch it before prime time TV begins tonight.
