And, I'll have you know, tonight I will be enjoying TWO different flavors of jello for dinner: berry and citrus lime!

I survived the surgery. Thanks for all the.comments of support. I will remain in the hospital for a few days. I cannot tell you what a balm it is to read your posts and see your faces. What a blessing!

We are very happy to have you back with us.

There is an unexplained mystery: I went into surgery wearing a pale lavender paper gown. Now, I find that I am wearing a polka-dot blue cotton gown. Just noticed this. I guess I'm ready for my next production number.

You just had to brag, didn't you? I hope there are no lima beans lurking anywhere near either flavor.

Both sound far nicer than the usual cotton gowns. At St John's the gowns looked like they were from the 1940s.

I wonder if one can draw any conclustions about a hospital from the gowns they offer.

It is still ugly outside and the air quality is still unhealthy, but the numbers continue to drop along with the rain.

I hope they are good.  I might tolerate the berry but not the citrus lime.  Of course when yours choices are limited something is better than nothing ;)

I find myself so sad when I think about what is happening in the West right now. Hope you continue to be OK, DR Jane.

;D

Paper!  Is this due to covid?  Maybe the cotton gowns were in the laundry and they switched you after the surgery.

Thank you.  Fortunately I don't personally know anyone, or anyone close, that has lost their home.  The rain has helped.

DR Jane---I saw your question earlier today and meant to answer.   Yes, my friend told me that she heard that the reason our skies were not clear the other day was because of the fires out west.

In a statement dictated to her granddaughter Clara Spera days before her death, she said, “My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new President is installed.”

DR ChasSmith, while I was giving the cats their evening treat I heard on tonight's CBS news that the NY State Bank, Key Bank, had a 3-hour glitch this morning and the additional unemployments went out this afternoon.  I checked my bank just now and they have landed.  I understand from the news that we are in for three more payments.

That sounds right. I just wonder if our illustrious GOP Senate is ever going to move on this again.

Correct.  About that Facebook idiot.

Well, let's see how fast the disgusting Mitch McConnell tries to take advantage of Ms. Ginsburg's death.

Well, those unemployment payments are listed as released yesterday on my payment history on the NY State Dept of Labor site, but they are not in my account this morning.

Oh, no! >:(
