I tend to agree with this and with George's comment about the one needing type on the steps of the other.(http://i52.tinypic.com/257g0gg.jpg)
If you removed the nudes I would like this one best - perhaps simpler would bring the eye to the name better

My first instinct is that I like this one...maybe with the lettering in black. But I do like the title only being in the outfit, not additionally on another line, like post #s 5 and 6.

I like this one too. -But, like DR vixmom, I would like to see it without the nudes. -In fact, it took me a few moments to figure out exactly what they were.

OMG i could not figure out what DR Vixmom meant by nudes. I thought they were just elbows. I concur don't like it. the elbows are very distracting.

Vibes to DR Druxy. I think most of us here have had that test.

I guarantee that YOU haven't.

I am sonically reliving the 1970's by listening to Mahavishnu Orchestra's incredibly lovely album with the London Philharmonic, Apocalypse.
Someone please explain this post to Laura.
Last night's fireworks displays were unbelievable from our new house. We could see north as far as Vancouver, then downtown Portland, then Oaks Park and out east to Mt. Scott. We were in Big Timber, Montana last fourth so had not seen how many displays we could see here at home. Amazing.

DR Elmore designed and oversaw the making of all the costumes. My dress was gorgeous, complete with corset and bustle:

LOL! Ok. Well, my DH probably had said test and survived it just fine.

Tuesday morning greetings! I have a lot of puttering to do this week to get ready to accompany Fr. Richard to the annual church synod next week.
SELF-ISH PLUG TIME:

END OF SELF-ISH PLUG ;)
TOD: Does BREAKING AWAY count as a family movie? (one of my all-time favorites)

We will be back in the city tonight. We are leaving after dinner.
I got an eye exam (hadn't been in 11 years, I thought it was time to go again). I will pick up my new glasses next Friday. I really like the frames and the price was great. 11 years ago I spent over $600 for glasses and I swore I would not do that again this time.

I prefer this one but I would remove the title of the show from below the chorus girl
In my opinion the small bright "spotlight" on top of the larger less bright spotlight in 1-3 gives a "snow man" look which i find distracting and makes it difficult to see the chorus girl properly
TOD: The original versions of "Freaky Friday" and "The Parent Trap."
I'm going into the hospital tomorrow for a "test".
Vibes appreciated.
Not guilty?? Of anything? Not even child abuse?
I'm a little verklempt--the French magazine with an article on my Dad just arrived. It is a really beautifully designed mag, all glossy pages, elegant illustrations.
MEGA VIBES FOR DR TCB!!
You had better post tonight or call someone to give us an update!!
Eye glass vibes for DR Jeanne!!

We had spaghetti at our house three times this week.

Synod? I didn't know you were Jewish.

I am sorry Ben but every time Matthew talks about DD Ben I immediately picture you by his side

We're actually making great progress so far. There have been a few very minor tweaks here and there, but, all in all, we've basically just been running the show in costumes, with lights and sound for the first time.

I like this one the best. I find the "snowman" distracting and didn't realize what it was at first. I don't care for the "cone" or the empty steps. I agree with Vixmom and others about the nudes; much better without them.
I am home from the doctor, with a wheelchair (which I now own). Also a couple of possible broken toes from the last fall on Saturday in the bedroom.
DR TCB - thanks for checking in! Broken toes are not fun, because they hurt and there's not much that can be done for them. Vibes to you!
VIBES TO TCB~~~~~~~~
I am home from the doctor, with a wheelchair (which I now own). Also a couple of possible broken toes from the last fall on Saturday in the bedroom.
And the MRSA has returned.
And the latest from here is that I smashed a finger on my left hand in my sliding closet door. It's swollen and bruised and I can't bend or straighten it. Doesn't really interfere with my typing, but some other motions - like drying my hands with a towel - really hurt. If it's the same or worse in the morning, I think I'll have to have it looked at.
I don't think the French magazine has an online component and I don't want to break the spine of the mag to scan it (plus I don't think you'd be able to read it anyway, the font is rather small). But it's a very sweet remembrance of my Dad and a recounting of his campaign to free Cherbourg after D-Day. I am very proud to be my father's son. :)
Rehearsal went really well - this show is so much fun! Great cast, great songs, only three tiny lyric flubs and the show order works great.
Wow! A HUGE dust storm!

DR Jose - are you using the original orchestrations? The BandStration? Or the Brohn over-orchestrated fiasco?

Our "band" is 12 pieces: Violin, Cello, Bass, Flute/Piccolo, Oboe/English Horn, Clarinet/Bass Clarinet, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Guitar/Banjo, Percussion, Keyboard (mainly Harp and "inner" strings).
It's all based on Robert Russell Bennett's originals, with tweaks as needed for our reduced forces.
