Sorry, DR elmore3003. ~~~FEEL BETTER PRONTO VIBES~~~
I hope that all the cousins give Macbeth a big "F. U."
TOD:
I have mentioned this before, but in the 1987 Broadway musical Roza, starring Georgia Brown - inept on so many levels - there was this line, which has always stuck with me:
"Ah. You do voodoo, do you?"
I had to get rid of it when I moved.
Wordle then work I supposed
I made a bank run
By the way, if any of you are ASMAC fans, there will be a Zoom chat Saturday on the work of Richard Rodgers. The chat is called "The Music for Victory at Sea: Richard Rodgers, Robert Russell Bennett, and the Making of a TV Masterpiece" (Eastman Studies in Music, 190) by its author George Ferencz.
It's free.
Getting back to today: that's a sad communication from your cousin, DR Elmore. I hope she considers your advice.
As for Macbeth: Holy moley. Is there no end to it?
I am trying boiling a pot of water with some baking soda in it on the stovetop and having the microwave vent fan on to see if I can steam some of the remaining smoke smell out of the microwave.
George, been meaning to tell you how much I like your cast photos!
As for those French pastries that you had at your mom’s last night…
Next time, buy them from Louis the baker.
😊
Just bit the bullet and dialed 1-800-XFINITY, as instructed in the emails, to schedule the installation of the "upgraded" X1 boxes.
Apparently this isn't something you can just exchange for your old boxes at the local store. They come out to install, and to make sure everything's working as it should. And it's at no charge, so I can't argue with any of that. The worst part of these things is having to endure the phone call with someone on another planet, and the endless repetition of every aspect of the upgrade deal. The people who come out are usually great.
So, Saturday morning between 8 and 10. I could have had that slot tomorrow, but - wouldn't you know - I have rehearsal for the last of my spring gigs tomorrow morning, and Saturday was their next available date.
One minute 66 guests, next minute 1 guest.
I scared 65 people away!
In laws bed was too high for them last night so in a panic they called their concierge who delivered a rollaway while MIL insisted on sleeping on the couch. I’m certain she barely slept. Place was very apologetic and they had put in a new bed before I showed up to check on things. Back on track, I think.
(Note: I had had my MIL test getting into bed yesterday but by day’s end it was just too difficult.)
It did. At the time I thought it would be easier for them to get up from it. Didn’t work out, but place was quick to fix it.
DR George, how about Mexican food?
The drug company won't investigate my missing order until 20 business days have passed, which is June 2nd.
The post office says that tracking number is ineligible to investigate. No date was given as to when it is eligible.
I completely understand the difficulty of too high of a bed. My biggest issue is getting up during the night. I like my feet to easily step on the ground so I don't fall while jumping out of bed to deal with a foot cramp.
George, did you get your car back? I missed any news of it.
DR George, how about Mexican food?
I enjoy Mexican food. There are a couple of sit-down restaurants in Tumwater. Plaza Jalisco is the better of the two. There's road construction at the intersection where PJ is (Trosper Road and Capitol Blvd.), but it's manageable.
They'll need to get some new part(s) that will take 4-5 days to get, then another 4-5 days to do the work. ::)

Vibes the new part fixes the problem.
I also want to know if I need to get a doctor to call in a script for me locally.

The thing is, for us of a more mature age, that low beds are hell to get into and out of. Of course, if it's too high, it's again a problem.
It's best that they find the right height right away.

Well, this is an interesting perspective on the world of high finance:

There are some (most likely expensive) beds that are height adjustable.
And now, for something completely different...this is an interesting perspective on the world of high finance:

I have an allergist appointment Thursday morning, and the trek takes me past Sara's Roadside Stand coming and going.
Sara's is always a treat, as is Cook's.
And, since I'm in North Augusta for my appointment, CostCo is nearby and will get more of my business before I return home.

Yay, I found a menu without bright lights glaring on it-lol
LoL, Jane!
I have had two of the toilets in this house replaced since moving here. They were way too low and very inconvenient.

Not only percentages...sometimes actual tax amounts!! Bastards. >:(

George do you want us to pick you up to go to the restaurant or will you meet us? I don't know if you are planning to return to work after a late lunch, of if you want to meet earlier and return to work.

Great! I hope it has options that you like!

Maybe I'm just thinking of hospital beds, but I would assume that there are some for regular people at homes.

I'm not working the whole day, so I can meet you there and we can take as much time as we want.
And floors. I don't know about the rest of you, but I do not EVER get down on the floor without having some major means of helping me get back up nearby.

I expect it will. Fingers crossed I don't wake up Thursday with major sinus issues. That always messes up a visit with the allergist.
Too bad it won't be done in time to show it off to you and Keith.
I also want to know if I need to get a doctor to call in a script for me locally.
Do this!!! It may be your salvation.

I did a quick google search for adjustable beds and only found those that adjust the back or legs up and down.

Great, so what time? We will be spending the night of our anniversary in Olympia. Except for a drive past the Capitol building we don't have any plans.
George, I hope the show isn't funny-lol

My brother and I both get coughs, and then the coughs don't go away for months, and sometimes last a couple of years. It is very annoying.
For the play, I will open a supply of Ricolla's to have handy in case I need them.
We saw those in Japan. Fortunately there was always one regular toilet.
DR Rodzinski, I expected they would take furniture with them. Is the place completely furnished?

They are in a furnished temporary room for 3 weeks while their fulltime space gets updated.

Still at their house but soon moving to a storage room at the facility until their suite is ready.
When we renovated recently I replaced two toilets with tall-boy toilets.
Ron, I laughed so hard I had a coughing attack.

Just be glad that you don't live where you'd have to use a Squat toilet (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Squat_toilet).
::)
Our first trip to Italy and began wearing skirts to make it easier to use the "toilets". I was much younger and more agile. There were these foot prints indicating where to stand. Had I actually done that I would have fallen over backwards.

I gather their house will be going up for sale soon. Will it be an empty home? Staging is popular here but maybe it isn't in Canada.

The menu I found is for Astoria. I guess there are a number of these restaurants.
Congrats on Sell-Out, BK!
Glad they were able to diagnose your car, DR George.
Hope it doesn't take TOO long to get it back to you.
They had best not be thinking of charging you anything for this!

Kritzerland show is sold out! Now we have to decided whether we want to open up standing room - they can accommodate another thirty people if we do.
I hope no one minds my saying this, but I miss TCB.
Tom, I hope you are watching out for us!!!
Now that the show is on its feet, George, how does it feel?
They wanted to make sure you saw them DR JOHN G.
