The ending to yesterday's Dalmatian story.
A little more than an hour after we'd returned home, our doorbell rang. It was the Dalmatian's owner, glad to know his dog was OK. His name, by the way, is Domino. The Dalmantian's, not the owner's. We didn't find out what his name is.
The particularly good new is that Domino was very glad to be reunited with his master.
After that, der B and I headed out for a little, then came back home and had breakfast for dinner.
CINNAMON APPLES:
Melt some
butter in a saucepan over med-low heat. Peel and slice
an apple or two (or more, depending on how hungry everyone is and how many everyone is), add to apples and stir to coat. Add some
cinnamon, a pinch of
salt, some
brown sugar, stir again. Fret because the dish needs something extra. Add a splash of
cherry brandy, and let simmer, partially covered. When apples are nicely soft and glazed, serve warm.
