TPunk, you are contributing to the delinquency of a minor.  My 7 year was sitting in my lap as I scrolled through HHW and he suddenly burst forth with, "Crapballs?  What are crapballs?"  I assume as a professional you are used to dealing with Children's Services social workers, so I'll simply refer the whole problem to you.   ;D

iCal is the Mac calendar - quite easy to use and very handy, and I've trained myself to look at it every day.

Monday evening greetings!  It has been cold and dreary here in SW Ohio and everybody's mood seems to match.  I had lunch with a friend, finished putting away Christmas decorations, and cooked a nice dinner for DH Richard (pork chops, wild rice, broccoli).

TOD - My sister had a nifty OBC recording of The Unsinkable Molly Brown whose album cover had a slot in the back that held a souvenir program book - the pictorial kind that used to cost all of a dollar (!) and now cost, what, $10?

I shall now shower and then be on my way to the theater.  Pray for Rosemary's Baby, baby.  And keep the home fries burning, won't you?

Oh! I stopped the DVD just before the end of the Hard Nut it was getting late and we expected to finish it Saturday and never got back to it.... I wonder if I have those too?

I must look to see tonight

I'm glad you guys enjoyed The Hard Nut--it's become a Christmas favorite of mine.

During the early sixties, my sister and I would always look for and watch The Spirit of Christmas, which was produced by The Telephone Company.  It was shown on a local channel and there was never much hype about when it was broadcast, so we had to be vigilant every year to catch it.  It literally disappeared for over thirty years before our local PBS outlet, WHYY, found a copy and began presenting it in the 90s.  I've been watching it again every year (not as hard to miss nowadays, as they show it incessantly during Christmas.)

DR Vixmom,  the actual show doesn't start until about three minutes in.

When my niece was much younger (who is now 21) and she got upset, she used to yell, "CRAP ON A LOG!" instead of anything more inappropriate.  I don't know where she got that, but it was hysterical!

DRLAURA - I know what you mean about THE CAT - but we deal with parents whose children are SO talented that their abilities transcend gender....they MUST be given the opportunity to show what they can do.

I am not directing or choreographing the thing.  Maybe I will do the makeup so I can stay out of the box office, time will tell!

I think it's time to eat.

I wonder where MR BK is pacing right now?  Is he giving tech notes or acting notes - or both.

Producer is a CREATIVE position?  Hmmmm.....

Today I told my sister the story of Bonanza and of all of the boys' different mothers.  She always assumed Ben had only been married once.

That ain't the case!

DRFJL - I loved the Thoroughly Modern Millie LP, too.  The chatty notes were very funny....and it had a LOT of pictures!!!

Ben I love the photos, keep them coming. :)

Poor Anthony only has a little slice of Italy named for him while I have an entire street in NY. ;)

Hmm, there is a Gay Road in Tacoma, but I never thought about it being named after me!

I must admit I didn’t get a chance to watch it with so much going on around here after our mini-floods.  Should I wait until next Christmas or go ahead and watch it now?  I was listening to my Doris Day Christmas CD in my car until yesterday and now I feel ready to move on.

DR Jane: She went undercover with a neighbor.

That sounds so covert. :)  I had a similar assignment and went to a CMA (crystal meth anoymous) meeting.  I made sure that I attended an open meeting so it was open to anyone at all with an interest of any kind.  It was a huge meeting with over a hundred people so I didn't have to share anything or explain myself.  Afterward, a few men came over to welcome me and I told them I was a social work student. They were most gracious.

While I was out at lunchtime today, I stopped at our local used CD/DVD shop and found a copy of Topsy Turvy for $5.00!
