PRAY FOR ROSEMARY'S BABY
« on: January 09, 2006, 12:43:54 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, you've prayed for Rosemary's Baby, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they, too, are praying for Rosemary's Baby, after which, they personally told me they'd be home.

Good morning all!

Wow!  First post!

It was cold in the state of Sunshine this past weekend so I spent a lot of time staying warm under the covers and when I was up, I played with the new DVD recorder.

I am happy to say that I now know how to record from my VCR to the DVD.  That means that all the old shows (Like Beauty and the Beast) can now be transfered over.  Yea!

Gotta run for the bus.

Have a wonderful day all!

Vibes to those who need them!

Break a leg vibes to BK and the new play!

I'm praying!  I'm praying!  And I can't wait to hear all about it!

Just wish I could be there.  That darn surgery is really going to kill my travel time.  Sigh.

The good news is that I will have a week built back up by fall so.......   :D

Good morning, all!  Well, after a solid 12 hours in bed, I still feel under the weather, but the chills and tremors are gone.  I will dress and putter about the house today.  I don't think I'll be going out.

Dear Friend BK, break a leg tonight!  I'm sending positive vibes for a successful preview!

TOD:
My favorite albums were the Columbia cast recordings with the wonderful  photos: CAMELOT, KEAN, and BYE BYE BIRDIE were my favorites.
The tackiest were the old London classical covers like SCHEHERAZADE with the belly dancer; there were many of them, all equally tasteless.

Thanks to DRJANE, DRJOSE, and DRGEORGE for their comments on my elevated clerical status (and others including DRMBARNUM) - and DRJANE I am wearing another pair of skinny pants today, so I am happy about that again.

My meeting wasn't as long and boring as DRLAURA's.....we set the dates for the auditions....SEUSSICAL has to audition The Cat early because for some reason there are two different scripts/scores depending on whether The Cat is played by a male or a female and MTI must know which set we need - which makes sense....just very different.

The original painting used on this LP cover hangs in the living room of a home in Encino.  8)

I will save picture space and just mention a few others by name:

STATE FAIR soundtrack 1962
Pat Boone record covers for DOT were very flattering
The Beatles, especially MEET THE BEATLES and A HARD DAY'S NIGHT

Weirdest or strangest....hmmmm

I think the most unusual one was the original cast album for Do Re Mi with Phil Silvers and Nancy Walker. It was a black cover and a neon orangey color. What made it unusal is that the cover had various cut outs that revealed the inside of the job jacket.

Here is a picture of one of the first places we visited after arriving in Dublin (Anthony had to spend time sleeping to get over the jet lag). It's called Malahide Castle. It's in Dublin County. Parts of it look like a castle and it was built long ago but it has been renovated over the years so that much of it looks like state apartments more than an actual castle. It was still a fun place to tour.

Isn't Pat Sejant the host of Wheel of Fortune?

I'm thinking you've simply mixed up the spellings, DR JRand55.

Of course, sejant is a mathematical term, along with co-sejant.

As a pre-teen, In loved the album packaging for the movie of THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE.  It was like an oversized book, and had the silliest, chattiest liner notes.  I had never seen anything like it, and at the time i loved it.  Plus I got it for 99 cents.

BK - Break a leg tonight, but much more important, break a leg Friday night.

I suspect the loneliness may be a function of being both writer and director as opposed to a waiver theater matter.  But obviously, your having the dual capacity is what's best for this show.  Was your producer there, though?  Any feedback from that end?  Or will that come tonight?
