And I finished this afternoon with the blooper reel for 1938 from the ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD 2-disc set. Called BREAKDOWNS OF 1938, we get to see folks like Kay Francis, Claudette Colbert, Humphrey Bogart, Bette Davis, Hugh Herbert, Pat O'Brien, and other luminaries flub and bungle through some of their 1938 films.
I probably wouldn't have pulled this out except I was reading reviews of the Warners Tough Guy boxed set that's coming out next week, and special features on several of those DVDs were BREAKDOWN blooper reels from 1936, 1937, and 1939. It was mentioned in the review that the 1938 reel was in the ROBIN HOOD set, and I'd never watched it before. There are outtakes specifically from Robin Hood on the disc, and I'll watch those when I go back downstairs.
