You could include extra $$ to give the participants a slice of peanut butter pie

Elinor Donahue was also on Days...

I remember the character, Kate Honeycutt....

Will have to check some clips to see if I have a clip of her.

The peanut butter pie sounds real good!  I've been on a peanut butter yogurt kick...I get plain (and fat-free, but that's not necessary ;)) yogurt and just mix in some all-natural peanut butter and Splenda and it all just mixes so easily.  And it's tasty! :D I've only used Adams Old Fashioned peanut butter that has nothing but peanuts and salt.  I've never made it with peanut butter that doesn't need to be stirred (Jiff, Peter Pan, Skippy, etc.), so I don't know how those would work.  Try it, you'll like it. :)

DR Elmore - nice photo of your dad!

I am, as we speak, in the throes of making the chocolate pie for which DR Cillaliz posted the recipe.  Last night, I printed both on a sheet of paper and asked my family to pick one.  Since it makes 2 pies, I'll take one to the baby shower Friday and we'll have one here at home to taste.  I've already had an idea for a holiday variation - use peppermint stick ice cream.

As for the peanut butter pie, I also want to make that one soon because it's my mother's favorite pie variety.  If you'd come to the tri-state, BK, to visit DR Charles Pogue, I'd make you one, too!

I think the chocolate would be good with strawberry ice cream, or cherry or almost anything. Peppermint would be good

DR Cillaliz - do you have a photo of the chocolate pie?  My crusts turned out real poufy, so I'm guessing that, after adding the ice cream, the pie will be real tall?

At 4:30pm EDT today, I had my final evaluation for my "period of initial employment" (a nice way of saying probation) as Grants Specialist.  Passed with flying colors, not that I was sweating it or anything.  Just another hoop to jump through.
