Finally, at five-fifteen my time, the blue sky has defeated the white/gray cover, just in time for nightfall.  Bravo.

DR George - "Oprah" is rebroadcast at 9:00 in your area?  Is that on the network? or one of the cable stations?  The ABC affiliate here in NYC rebroadcasts it after "The Jimmy Kimmel Show".

In any case... It was a good show.  I hope they follow up on the families they profiled as the year goes by, especially since "This Is The Year..."

-And now I want to know what the "Secret" is on tomorrow's show.  ;)

"Oprah" is normally on at 4:00pm on the NBC affiliate, KING 5, but the 9:00pm rebroadcast is on KING's sister station, KONG 6/16, which is channel 6, for me.  It's pretty funny that the stations' call letters actually are KING and KONG!

Elmore e-mailed me this picture to resize and post here.  It's a teaser poster for the new "Sweeney Todd" with Johnny Depp:

Good Evening!

My bag is packed, and now I'm just taking a TV break.  We're watching "American Idol" "live", while DVR-ing the "Lost - Survivor Guide".  Then we shall watch "Lost" while DVR-ing "Top Design".

...And I have to say that Todd Oldham is not an ideal host.  He sounds like he's trying to hide some other vocal affectation.  Consequently, he's sounding like a male version of Janice Dickinson.  Only with a higher voice.

Jose, in the NYC area Channel 55 on Time Warner cable runs Oprah at 7pm so if you miss the 4pm ABC/Channel 7 viewing and don't want to stay up (or TIVO/tape/DVR it) to after Jimmy Kimmel and you get Channel 55 you can watch it a little bit earlier.

I believe it's the ad in this week's VARIETY.  Shooting began on Monday, I believe.

Thanks, DR Goerge!

No problem! ;D

I'm now off to see I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change.  I have to set my VCR to tape Oprah before I go, but that'll be quick.  Until much later!

Ooohh... Yeah, sounds like you were due for an update... or two.. ;)

Great. So he installed 6 and then my Mac started crashing all the time and he said to go home and run disc warrior. If that failed, I should reinstall my OS. Now itunes will not open at all. Crap.

YEAH!  I just checked my itinerary for tomorrow, and "realized" that my flight from La Guardia doesn't depart until 11:16am.  I can actually get a normal night's sleep.  -Well, I can actually stay up a little later than I thought I would be able to.

Did you know it costs over 400 dollars to fly from Portland to Pittsburgh! That is highway robbery!

Today I figured out how to divide nine birthday cupcakes among ten kids and got punched in the arm by a misbehaving four-year-old.

I've caught up.  Now rather than sit here like so much fish I'm off to see my Sturgeon for a check up. Hopefully my blood tests shall indicate I am still alive. (though too old to be a Tramp)

Can it be considered highway robbery if it's in the air?
