The Macbeths arrived while I was writing my post on my father's death.  Hospice got here around 2 AM to fill out the paperwork, notify the doctor, contact the funeral home, and toss all the remaining drugs down the toilet.  As executor, I had to sign the forms.
Around 4 AM, the funeral home showed up to remove the body, asked us to call around 8 AM to set an appointment to purchase the coffin, take care of the obituary, and plan the funeral.  I'm on my fourth cup of coffee and I would love a nap.  The Macbeths just left, and I could be paranoid, but I'm sensing a bit of hostility from my brother and Lady M (so what else is new?).  Speculations on this round are endless, but my initial impulse is that it's over the fact that I am the executor and that he isn't.  He's already let me know I don't deserve an inheritance, so I'm sure this latest turn of events has him and Lady M a bit miffed.
More news to follow.  I wish you all a wonderful day.
