Even though I'm Irish (with English thrown in as well) I have no memories of Saint Patrick's Day. I don't celebrate it as anything. I don't feel the need to do so.
The idiots in New York who claim to be Irish (many may well be) and use it as an excuse to drink themselves blind drunk and then puke all over the streets are revolting examples of Irish stock and I refuse to partake in the silliness.
Baseball??? As I said regarding camping a few weeks ago, are you crazy???
Actually, it's not as severe as that but I've never played baseball and I have no interest in watching it. Unlike football which I loathe, mainly because it's been turned into some kind of faux religious experience, I don't dislike baseball, I just have no interest in it. I also have no interest in most major sports. Hockey "I went to a fight last night, a hockey game broke out". Basketball, I'm 5' 3" tall now, I was shorter in junior high and high school. I was harassed in gym class because of basketball. I do not care for the game. I do not understand it and I do not care to learn anything more about it.
And that, ladies and germs, is the end of my rant.
I must go to the bank and open my 2006 IRA.
