I think I have reading these posts too long, Ginny. I read the first two sentences of your post, and I just assumed that Grantseeking Basics was the name of a new musical.
Hi DR Jose (you jungle siren!)...... I missed it in the earlier posts this week, but which day did your surprise package finally get to you? And, do you have a favorite flavor out of what you have tried so far??I was just wondering how long UPS took to get there.Hugs..... (and smacks!)
And the postal assholes are raising their rates again in May.
DR Elmore - did you say "a trip to Ohio"?
Saturday at 2am the rest of the world (the rest of the world that does it anyway) will change to Daylight Saving Time and we will then be back to 5 hours time difference between the U.K. and New York.
Karaganda? Isn't that the character that sings GLITTER AND BE GAY?
LOL! Our department manager decreed that all my coworker reference librarians would be required to attend this event sometime in 2007, so each month I have 3 or 4 of them in the audience. The folks who were there last night all commented on the "performance" element. One said in her evaluation, "How do you do this month after month?" and another told me this morning that he gained enomous respect for what I do. Last month, one co-worker told another that Grantseeking Basics isn't as boring as she thought it'd be
Well, could you sing us the title song?
DR elmore - So, I've been thinking about Swagat on Amsterdam between 79th & 80th for dinner. And that will put us closer to the theatre too. *Seating is general admission. Nick may be able to reserve some seats for us, but he's not sure he can. Shall I just meet you at your place around 5:30-5:45?
Why do I have the feeling that the term "fire escape", in references to accommodating DR MBarnum, is actually a euphemism for something else altogether?
Re: the new $.41 postage stamps. The postal service is advertising that it will also issue comething called the "Forever Stamp."I don't know how long they will be selling it, but the gist is that the "Forever Stamp" will be good no matter how many times the prices of 1st class postage increase in the future. If you have them, they will "do the trick".
I'm trying to get back to see CANDIDE at Miami University, but my only free time is April 3-10 and I keep waffling about it!
