Good afternoon dear Esteemed, researched, rested, and rippling BK --

As far as your research questions of yesterday.... your character could get both paxil and zanex (sp?) off the street (or from other "rich kids" because they are both legal prescription drugs, but can be stolen from parents' medicine cabinets).  And by taking more than the prescribed amount, they will produce exactly the "blurred" state that you are looking for.  Trust me.

***  A POST FOR DR "CUTIE-PIE" MIKE BARNUM  ***

Yes, we do have a dinner date in Hollywood.....what do you think, that I'm a chincy bassa ??  :o

But it has to be at the start of your trip.  If you can keep Tuesday evening, the 24th, free, then it can be dinner at Musso & Frank .  And maybe we could lure the Grande Mensch himself into joining us.  Platters of shrimp cocktail shrimp will be brought out, along with trays of crudites and crusty bread and butter.  And then, you should experience the "pounded steak with country gravy."  Oh, so yummy.

Ah Haz Spoken !

My friend Matthew and I went to see BOY CULTURE.  I had read the book about 10 years ago and remembered nothing of the plot.   The movie was sweet, funny, and moving.  Good cast, to boot.

DR George, I prefer the new avatar; the old may be fine for Halloween but it always weirded me out.[move=left,scroll,6,transparent,100%]

Thanks...I think. ;) Actually, I was getting tired of it, myself.

BTW, is George such a celebrity that Fred and Skip had to have passes to visit him?

I wish! :) No, the passes were for the Village Theatre's[/b] sixth annual Festival of New Musicals, that was held last August.  It's a festival of new shows done as readings...no sets, no costumes, very little staging and the actors read from scripts and score (for the most part).  Fred and Skip's musical The Last Starfighter was one of the six musicals that was performed and through their generosity, Penny and I were able to see the show.  The passes were for all six shows and I actually drove all the way from Olympia to Issaquah (about 90 miles each way) four days in a row to see all six shows!  The whole festival was absolutely wonderful and it was great meeting Fred and Skip in person and seeing Penny again! ;D

Good Afternoon!  Good Evening!

Another good day of playing auditions.  Some very good people came in, and it was fun playing and hearing some lesser known material.

And I now finally know who She of the Evil Eye is!  Contextual clues do help.  This board needs an FAQ!

Well, you still have a a few more weeks until the mid-term exam, so...

bk - Valium is still in "active use".  It may not be "hip", but it's still prevalent.  And since there's not so much of a stigma attached to it - if there ever was one - there's no shame taking a Valium for some people.

John Dossett just screwed up the lyrics to "Sorry/Grateful." ::)

But I bet his blues eyes still twinkled when he did that.  ;)
