In the mood for another episode, I went back a few episodes to the one which introduced Dr. McSteamy, Mark Sloan, to the series as he arrives to take Addison back to NYC with him. Eric Dane made such an impression as Sloan that he was quickly added to the group of regulars in Season 3. Wise move.

This was the episode that ended in Meredith and George having their one night together, a disastrous encounter that led to an estrangement for a time.

I finished my afternoon completing 16 BLOCKS which I had begun rewatching yesterday. The plot has lots of holes, but it's still compelling viewing and I did enjoy it as much the second time through even knowing how it ended.

Always enjoy David Morse in bad guy roles. He does very well with them. David Zayas has a nice part in this, too.

Greetings to all the wonderful HHW folk!  Thanks for everyone who has sent me birthday wishes, this really is the most friendly place on the all the internet.

Life has become incredibly busy around here!  We're all happily moved into the house, and loving it more than we thought possible.  The wedding is exactly six weeks from today!  I can hardly believe that it's coming up so quickly.  I've been busier than busy with plans and decorations and decisions and all such things.  As much as I'm looking forward to it, I think I will be happy when it is over and we can simply live our lives.

On top of the wedding and moving activities, I am also very (I hope) close to a new job I have been wanting for a long time.  I applied for it back in late November, and had all but given hope of hearing from them.  Two weeks ago, out of the blue, they called me in for an interview.  The interview went very very well, and last I heard from them on Wednesday, they were calling references.  I should hear something in the next week.  What a wonderful birthday/wedding gift that would be.

Tonight Jed is taking me to a fondue restaurant called The Melting Pot for my birthday.  A cheese fondue course, salad, meat variety fondue in broth for the main course, and a chocolate fondue course for dessert.  It all sounds too too delicious, and I can't wait!  Nothing like celebrating a birthday with food.

I see some new names around here.  So, I will say my own personal welcome to DRs Cason, Singdew, and Miss Karen...at least, those are the newbies I've seen in today's posts.  For those of you I know, I LOVE the new avitar pics I've seen.

I hope everything is well for all of you.  I promise I will try to get back here when things settle down again.  In the meantime-

Health vibes to Michael and everyone else who needs them
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Travel vibes to Cillaliz and everyone else who needs them
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

And general good thoughts and positive vibes to one and all and also all and one.

I wish I was being that clever.  :)

Wait a minute...you came home from that awards ceremony laughing, like this  :D  :D :D, about what that kid had written in his bio. Then you told me the line and I did a look, like this  :o, then we both laughed, like this  ;D ;D ;D, and then you said you would just have to use it on your myspace, and we both laughed again, like this  ;D ;D ;D.  I looked like this  :o and laughed like this  ;D ;D ;D because my mind was in the gutter like Francois's -- I thought your's was too.  But I guess you mean it literally then like that kid?  If so, I take back my look like this  :o and my laugh like this  ;D ;D ;D.... and say, "My, isn't that a nice quote about the power of the arts"... ::)

[with gratitude to DR Miss Karen, whose brilliant concept I ripped off most shamelessly!]  :)

That wasn't my idea, that letter was official -- so you'd better watch out about clowning around with the official letterhead -- the powers that be might be watching (especially the folks in the Avatar Dept. -- rumor has it that your name and your avatar of that mutant yellow fish are on their list, so you may be walking on very thin ice as it is...just a word to the wise from someone who cares  :-*)...

DR Jose, I've always liked that avatar. It's good to see it back.  We need to plan a music order.

DR Michael Shayne, I'm so sorry about your health problem.  I too hope there are other alternatives to surgery.  when is the MRI?
Hopefully as soon as I get back from Montreal

Didn't you mean spoo?  That's okay, DR FJL, I'm cool with it, and still adore you  -- BUT there is a Department of Libelous Postings here at HHW, and if they are watching today's postings, you might be getting a letter -- if you do, let me know cause I'll tell them I won't be pressing charges....this time... ;)
