DR Cillaliz - Welcome Home!

So... How were the chocolate chip cookies? :)

The cookies were good. I discovered on the last flight (only an hour total) that they have prebaked cookies and warm them up.  I was on a long flight once and they did actually bake them on the plane.  They still tasted wondeful though. They were warm and tasty.  Two per flight = FOUR chocolate chip cookies.

The best thing though are the wide leather seats, two on a side. They are like first class seats and are extremely comfortable.

DR Miss Karen - Ahem!  Since your "HHW God status" has just been recently[/b] attained, I must respectfully ask that you refrain from bestowing any honors and/or demotions on your fellow DRs until the HHW Bylaws have been reviewed.*  Yes, you are currently are an "HHW God(dess)", but please keep in mind that the concept of seniority still applies on this forum.

I would also like to take this time to remind you - of inform you, as the case may be - that DR Ron Pulliam was and is the "first HHW God".  Attention must be paid.

*And if recall correctly, you have queried in many a post as to the whereabouts of the HHW Guidebook and Decoder Ring.  Are you sure we have your current address on file?

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I'm innocent... I did not write that letter...three words:  Jose did it!

Actually you can blame Jose, but that doesn't mean Jose did it. There is definitely a difference. :)

Besides, it's too late...DR Francois has already made his wallet-size copy -- and it's been laminated and everything, so it's official

My cat sitter is great but she always forgets something. She didn't check my front porch to see if there was anything to bring in (Like the newspaper) anyway, 2 boxes of books were delivered by UPS and left on the porch. Both were soaking wet, but wonders of wonders none of the books were damaged.  Since most of them were for my new practice and were very expensive, I am very relieved

Feeling essentially awful today, with a headache, sore throat, dizziness, and the freezing/burning up sensation. I've been asleep for most of the past 21 hours, and I'm pretty sure it's strep. A friend is feeling the same way, so we're probably going to the emergency room tomorrow to get checked out. Vibes for friend Matthew and I would be GREATLY appreciated.

Hope you're all doing well!

One can only hope that isn't the case because that opens a whole different can of worms..DR Jose may well be getting a letter from the HHW Antidefamation and Equal Opportunity Department, which does not tolerate even a hint of impropriety or prejudice among HHW posters....

I'm an early-bird and I LOVE worms!
I can also be a book-worm, wrapped in plastic or not! The books! NOT the worm!

Sir Thomas Boleyn to Henry VIII: "Majesty, no one has calves like yours" was my favorite moment in episode one of THE TUDORS, which is well written and quite well cast.  Henry Cavill, sex symbol of I CAPTURE THE CASTLE, is the hottie in this series, with the most nudity, and that leads me to the sex life of the 16th Century.  The sex in this series is very Cinemax At Night, and I wonder how accurate this can be with bared bosoms and bottoms.  This is a period where there was no plumbing, people bathed once a year if lucky, most childbirth deaths were due to unsanitary conditions and people had to smell really badly.  Wasn't sex more groping and grappling under garments than a softcore and tastefully nude romp? I also think everyone looks too clean.

That said, I'm curious to know where the plot will go even though I know the history and politics quite well.  Henry Cavill is Charles Brandon, Henry's best friend who secretly married Mary Tudor, Henry's sister (Richard Todd and Glynis Johns in Disney's wonderful THE SWORD AND THE ROSE; why isn't that on DVD?), but so far there's no Mary Tudor; he's dallying with the daughter of the Duke of Buckingham, played  by Stephen Waddington, whom I last saw beheaded in SLEEPY HOLLOW.

But it's fun; I'll stick with it.  Great opening sequence, to boot.

DR Karen, didn't you know we decided to suspend all by-laws, rules and departments and give all power to the Great and Powerful BK?
